12 oz bottle into lager glass. Pours a deep bright gold hue with a thick pillowy head that sticks around for a long time and leaves some nice lace. Beautiful beer from the folks at Henry’s (is it really Full Sail?). Aroma is not so spectacular. I smell creamed corn, chalk, grain, Fruit Loops, cinnamon. On second thought, the aroma isn’t all that bad; lots of stuff reveals itself as it warms. Taste is sweet and sour. Highly carbonated with a creamy mouthfeel; a tad watery. I thought this was going to be a piece of crap, but it’s not too bad at all. No masterpiece, but it’s a very drinkable and attractive brew. presario (4925) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 16, 2009
$9 for 12 bottles! Hard to argue there. Yellow with thin head and some lacing. Light soft pepper aroma. Basic beer with good palate/body and light peppery edge. Pretty good beer for the money. Reid (2676) - Salem, Oregon, USA - APR 11, 2009
UPDATED: APR 12, 2009 New Summer seasonal ( different from the old Summer WHEAT ale).
In appearance, pale golden with nice sized pure white head.
Aroma very doughy, bread, some hop presence.
Nice tasty bready malts , some under tones of hop. Nice after taste.
Nice body on this .
Overall a nice interpretation for Henry’s.
Good drinking in the Oregon summer to come. boFNjackson (4230) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAY 17, 2009
Probably one of the better batches to come out of the Weinhards’ brand as of recently. Bottle... Poured golden with a frothy, white head. Aroma wasn’t much, cracker-like malts and light fruits. Crisp and refreshing with a light palate and a balanced carbonation. A little bit of hops but mainly just crisp barley-malts for a smooth, bread-like finish.

golden pour with a small layer of frothy head. Aroma of bready yeast and a light fruity smell. Very crisp with an initial sweet punch almost like a tart strawberry/fresh pineapple (followed by bready/yeasty lingering aftertaste. Probably a pretty good beer but I am not a big Kolsch fan. ditmier (1508) - Boise, Idaho, USA - SEP 7, 2009
2009 Bottle - Not sure if this should be merged with the Summer Wheat, but oh well...pours a haxy golden with a medium white head...aroma is citric and grainy, lemon and malt with some raw graininess...flavour is similar, clean and bright, bready grain and malt with some lemon and dirt...tasty BuckeyeBoy (8861) - Boise, Idaho, USA - NOV 9, 2009
Bottle picked this bad boy up at Fredmeyer’s months ago in the 25% off cart. Pours out a light gold topped with a creamy white head. Aroma of grain, malts and ligth citrus. Taste grain, light malt and a little bitterness on the end. A good Sumer beer to bad it is winter. raphael (1303) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUN 23, 2009
Light malt, corn, distant hops. feels a little flat in the mouth. clear yellow with a quick white head. flavors of lemon-y hops, white bread. clean and not too clingy. carruthm (1400) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUN 14, 2010
bottled. your standard light lager type beer but with some minor hints of wheaty and sweet flavor to make it decent.
