To me summer is about nice warm days clear skies and fresh fruit. This beer fits in perfect with my perception of summer. The aroma is of Oranges and so is the taste a nice Orange flavor with a lingering Orange after taste, the Orange is not over powering it is just right a very good summer ale. ricoincredible (1) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - SEP 13, 2006 does not count
OKAY: so it’s not the best beer in the world, but it is the best Henry’s right now, and at an average of $8.99-$9.99 for a halfer, it’s a pretty good alternative to the PBR I usually drink.
TASTES LIKE: Orange Fruit Loops, or more appropriately, orange Fruiti-O’s, the generic Fruit Loops you eat when you grow up in Hillsboro, Oregon like I did.
BEST ENJOYED: at an 8am tailgate party for a 12:30 kickoff, or anytime you’re feeling volcombus. pdxmickey (33) - Spokane, Washington, USA - SEP 30, 2007
This beer has its place. If you like the orange flavor and aroma it is not a bad beer to drink on a hot summer day, which I think was their intention when they made it. I am not quite as critical as others here, and will enjoy the rest of my twelve pack. :)

To start off, this beer is not for everyone. Having said that it is a solid, though not stellar, brew. More an ale than a wheat beer, pours with a thin white head that dissipates quickly. the first impression is slightly watery with a hint of spice. Then the Orange flavour comes rushing in followed by a quick zip from the coriander. Taste lingers for a long time on the palate. Enjoy with a good steak. ditmier (1508) - Boise, Idaho, USA - APR 9, 2009
2009 Bottle - Pours a golden yellow with a small white head...aroma is grassy, wheaty and bright, with a citrus malt nuance...is lacking that lagery skunk typical in other HW bottles, which is a nice change...flavour is gritty grains, dry citric malt...a body that you would expect from an unfiltered wheat...has a tempered fleeting hop bitterness, with a lingering earthy cereal finish...whats the problem with this one? I really enjoyed it... philbertk (1873) - Seattle, Washington, USA - FEB 26, 2010

UPDATED: JUL 18, 2007 In appearance a golden/light orange beer with an attractive thick white head, nice carbonation strings rise.
The beer has quite a distinctive aroma..that of those candy Orange slices , there is a slight peppryness, subdued yet overall pleasant.
Light tasteing ale ,but in a good way, there is orange flavours, less artificial than in the aroma and a slight tongue tease of coriander at the back of the tongue.
Pretty thin on the palate, but I guess that is what they were aiming for.
Overall not a bad cheap beer and I can tell that if it werein the 90s outside this would go down a treat..in large amounts..but still well drinkable. jake65 (3978) - Meridian, Idaho, USA - JUL 18, 2006
Lots of orange and citrus flavor, as well as some other spices. Not a real strong wheat presence, but a nice body and clean finish. Good summer beer by HW.
