Bottle. Pours a gold color with a big white head. Citrus and spice aroma. Big time orange and lemon flavor. ever so slight hint of hops that is almost rendered invisible by the citrus. good summer brew. A bhensonb (15618) - Woodland, California, USA - JUN 5, 2007
Light wheat aroma backed by light citrus. Some orange is noticeable as the glass approaches the lips. Orange tinted gold color with a substantive white head. Spicy. Orange peel indeed. Not quite medium bodied. A bit fizzy. The bitter comes forth lightly as the citrus oil fades - but it does not entirely fade. Damn refreshing, and quite excellent for a low price point ale. Perhaps the best of the HW litter. riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - JAN 8, 2013
nose of wheat Orange sweetness light coriander. pours golden thin fizzy head. flavors of wheat malt light coriander and oranges. light with nice carbonation. harlequinn (2744) - Tacoma, Washington, USA - APR 5, 2006
UPDATED: MAY 20, 2006 This is quite simple, but acutally suprisingly drinkable. Funky spice nose, hints of citrus and some other kind of hoppy funkiness. Typical NW style wheat beer, that is not bad for a summer beer. This beer though, really does taste like fruit loops BrewDad (5328) - Olympia, Washington, USA - APR 28, 2006

A great flavor tot his summer wheat. The aroma was very citrusy, Loved the color of the brew also. Had a very nice summer flavor this was a good beer. I would bring to any party.
Bottle: Pellucid gold, light head and no lacing. Nose of orange peel, a touch of lemon and coriander like an orange dream bar with some vanilla. The flavor is of wheat, but not too husky or musky. Citrusy character dominates the flavor too. Decent for Henry Weinhards. Finishes creamy. kyzr (1593) - Montana, USA - JUL 7, 2006
Big infussed orange from the first to last drop. Finish is clean, light hop notes. Rather intersting ale. MrRoss (646) - Delta, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 15, 2009
This was okay, better than a run o’ the mill swill. Pouring a four finger plus foamy white head, the colour was an attractive amber/gold. Aroma was a lil’ bit ’sharp’ for a wheat but none the less appealing for that. Taste had the typical wheat sweetness, and mouthfeel was quite nice, although the aftertaste was almost not an aftertaste. Nothing there, really. BuckeyeBoy (8281) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JAN 25, 2011
12oz Bottle from Fred Meyer Discount cart. Pours out a golden topped with a small white head. Aroma was of wheat, grass, and light citrus notes. Taste was more of the wheat and light citrus along with some malts to round it out.

Bottle pour into footed pilsner glass. Sun gold color, short-lived white head. Strong orange aroma (thumbs up for harlequinn’s Froot Loops comparison) carries through on the tongue. I didn’t pick up too much of the coriander. It’s light, thin, fizzy, and yet strangely still drinkable. Must’ve had too much Kool-Aid as a kid.
