Tap at Rhino. Clear orange pour. Good white lacing. Nose is red apples, baked apple. Taste is metallic, mealy apple. Very chalky, powdery mouthfeel. Loads of bland mealy apple. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 19, 2012
Pint on draft at Flipdaddy’s. Clear yellow orange color. Good thin off-white head. Good lace. Flavor is pretty mild for an IPA. More like a moderately hoppy pale ale, with a weak malt back bone. Smooth, lighter carbonation. More dry texture. Decent bitterness. OK, but weak for an IPA blipp (9590) - La Mesa, California, USA - NOV 24, 2012
Bottle. Pours golden orange with a thin white head. Light flowery notes, pale malts, and straw. Not that good. douglas88 (9569) - Portland, Oregon, USA - OCT 29, 2012
12 ounce bottle thanks to Craig! Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. A light sweet nose of floral and citrus hops, big biscuit. The flavor is a big earthy malt, some perfume, light citrus, low bitterness. Tea-like. OK. 3fourths (9357) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JUN 14, 2008
Bottle. Light and simple, as expected. Nose has a definite buttered corn note to go with clean malt and medium grassy hop presence. Brisk and grassy hops but pale and simple throughout. Lightly drying, simple but flavorful green hops, but lacks any sort of juiciness or freshness, rather it’s dried grass and pale malt. Simple, uninspired, par for the course for HW, but overall it’s drinkable and pleasent.

Draft to pint. Looks decent; malty though. A hazy brownish orange with foamy off-white head that dissipates into sticky lacing. Smells and tastes of mild hops and caramel malt. Average on the palate. A subpar, underhopped IPA. drowland (8932) - Georgia, USA - OCT 16, 2012
10/16/12. 12oz bottle from... Wal-Mart! A tick at Wal-Mart for $7 per six-pack? Dr. Owl is on the case! Amber pour with a small khaki head that fades. Light aroma with grains, caramel, and light, dingy, earthy hops. Slightly brighter flavor with more dingy, soapy hops, but a touch of citrus as well, on top of light grains and caramel. Eh. 12oz bottle pours with a clear deep copper body that supports an off white head of foam. The aroma offers up sugary malt sweetened tangerine and orange peel notes as well as some citrus gummy bears. The taste has an odd sweet nutty sort of lager-y note to it mixing with soft sugar sweetened citrus hops. It gets to tepid levels of citrus hop bitterness to midway but those "hop" notes quickly fade as malts surge forward into the finish. Not sure I’d try this again unless it was free as the malts and bits of hops aren’t coming together too well. SudsMcDuff (8466) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - OCT 2, 2012
12oz bottle- single from K Roger’s House .. . pours a medium dark honey gold .. light foam, light lacing .. . slight hops, but as with the other HW’s- non offensive .. but this is more of a light english pale .. . . beating people in the crowd, not a bad idea.. 12oz Bottle Pours out a goldish orange. Topped with an off white cream head. A light soap hop aroma. Tast of pretty good hops. Not much bitterness on this one. A little of the cardboard tast at the end. I think this is the best Henry brew I have had.
