Commissioned by BLES and served at their Nationale Bierhappening of 2008. Spiced with no less than 14 spices selected by De Ryck’s brewmaster. Creamy, snow white head, yellowish blonde colour with faint greenish hue. Sweet and complex spiciness in the nose, obviously difficult to distinguish from one another, but I do suspect coriander, star aniseed and curaçao. Grainy, honeyish, some DMS in the aroma too, thin sweetish finish in which the spices also linger and few hops to balance the sweetness. May have been an interesting experiment with all those spices, but I didn’t care for it much. Less is more sometimes... thebeertourist (5189) - Oslo, NORWAY - FEB 28, 2009

Blond, yellow body. White, fizzy head. Hoppy aroma with some spices; coriander, pepper, ... Also the flavour is quite spicy, but stays quite balanced.
