On tap, bottle, whatever, I had liters of it over the weekend in Bad Mergetheim [the place where it’s brewed]. Nice pils, crispy and dry just as I like it, mostly grassy and herbal with a hint of flowery nose, balanced by a little maltiness in the mouth. Lively carbonation with a touch of herbal in the flavour as well. Ends up dry, with just a trace of the herbalness from the hops. A real thirst. quenching device. kevnic2008 (12000) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - APR 29, 2012
The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Flavor a little bit dry, modest malty, well balanced finish. Good beer!

(Bottle, 0.5 l, at St Urho’s Pub, Helsinki) The beer poured pale golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had strongly herbalness, mildly grass and a little bit of grain. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were hops, herbalness, mildly fruitiness, grain and medium bitterness. Aftertaste was herbal and bitter. A flawless beer that had way too herbal taste for me. shrubber85 (11408) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - OCT 12, 2009

bottle, Danke nach Bochum! Clear yellow colour, mid-sized white head. Hoppy nose. Light malty background with some woody hop flavours and some tart hints. pivnizub (10619) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - JUL 29, 2009
UPDATED: SEP 22, 2016 Bottle: Golden coloured with a stable creamy and lacy head; shy noble hops - "suppressed" by common lemony hops - in the pale-malty nose; malty base detectable, a bit fizzy, clean and moderate bitter-sweet flavour; lemony and noble hops in the slightly lingering bitter-sweet finish. Good sample of this style...........
