Vom Fass. Trüb gold glänzendes Weizenbier mit weissem Schaum. Optisch perfekt. Hefe und Banane in der Nase. Leicht herb im Antrunk. Zitronenschale, Banane. Getreide im Abgang. Klassisch gutes Weizen.

pivnizub (10575) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - JAN 20, 2014
Bouteille: Deep golden, almost clear, lively carbonation, stable white creamy head, sourish-lemony nose with a wheaty and a yeasty touch; moderate sweet-sourish flavour, almost a creamy MF; mainly lemony-sourish finish, balancing grainy sweetness detectable, traces of wheat as well. Unspectacular, but well-made thirst-quencher…

Quack-Duck (9484) - Down South, GERMANY - DEC 28, 2013
bottle, donated by pivnizub! Cloudy golden yellow, mid-sized, very creamy head. Wheaty and yeasty start, shy fruits detectable. A tad too thin for my liking.

(bottle) Cloudy, golden colour with a big and slightly off-white foamy head. Slightly dusty and yeasty, pronounced wheat-malty aroma with notes of banana, citrus and cloves. Mildly sweet and slightly sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Wheaty and banana-fruity taste; slightly sweet and delicately sour-tart finish with fruity and slightly clove-spicy accents. Decent. 18.VIII.13

It’s unclear golden with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of yeast, fruit including light banana and wheat. The sweet flavor has notes of yeast, fruit, light banana and wheat, and the finish is pleasantly spicy. It’s very nice and well balanced!

Kaatuu lasiin runsaasti valkoista, paksua vaahtoa muodostaen. Nesteen väri on kirkkaan kultainen. Olut on rajusti kuplivaa. Suutuntumassa on yllättäen pientä öljymäisyyttä. Ihan hyvää, miedosti humaloitua olutta, mutta ei tästä itselleni voisi mitään vakikamaa koskaan tulla.

Medium strong aroma is bit sweet and sour and fresh. Banana, spices: pepper, bit citrus, wheat, yeast. Hazy sparkling honey, good, long white head. Taste is crisp sour, lively carbonation, finish dry and sour, light body, soft feel, easy to drink kinda beer. Beautiful, fresh hefe, I liked a lot.
