UPDATED: AUG 27, 2007 Sampled on draft at the Cranberry Twp PA location this beer poured a medium golden color with a small white head. The aroma is moderately strong floral and fruity hops. The flavor is dry and bitter with a strong floral hop presence and a hint of grapefruit. Certainly hoppy but too bitter and thin. muzzlehatch (4958) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 16, 2005
Pint at the Wausau, WI location. Light straw-gold with a lasting white head and touch of lace...slightly farmy nose, plenty of PNW hops a bit of perfumy quality...in the body, very bitter to start with fruity sweetness taking over towards the end...nose remains beautifully fragrant and gets stronger and stronger. gws57 (1276) - Saint Charles, Illinois, USA - JUL 17, 2005
Had this one on draught in Wausau, Wisconsin. Clear and bubbly with a dark yellow pour, this IPA had a thick head, very mild hoppy, flowery nose, heavy on the hops in the taste with roses, but unusually sour in the finish. Not bad, but not my first choice. JoeM500 (1908) - Crown Point, Indiana, USA - SEP 2, 2004
Festival Tap: This was every bit an Imperial IPA according to my tastebuds. BIg Piney aroma, firey alcohol at first sip, sweet malts were earthy and chewy. Piney bitter finish laced with alcohol. A big thick beer. Oakes (17664) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 28, 2003
Birght amber colour. Earthy, berryish, lemony aroma. A little thin. Light berry and tropical fruit notes throughout. Not bad.
