This American-style ale has been one of our most popular; appealing to regional tastes for a medium-bodied beer with full ale taste and delicate hops flavor.

On tap. Mild bitter lemon smell, with some beany hoppiness and a bit of pils malt. Dull golden-yellow clear with big foamy white lacing head. Medium body, soft, with light carbonation. Starts with nice maltiness, light acidity and medium hop profile. Mild fruitiness, with medium-soft bitter finish. Light sweet grain finish and soft bitter after. Done well, subdued.

On tap at the Wausau brewpub on 6/24/07: Pours a transparent bright golden with a clingy-lacing white head. Aroma of faintly sweet malt and some fairly fresh floral hops. Body is lightly grainy and pale malty sweet with some earthy bittering hoppy balance toward a crisp finish. A pretty decent blonde ale.

clear yellow, fine white head, lots of spidery lace, sweet malt aroma with a touch of corn, well bittered hop flavor with a long biter finish, enough malt to balance but the bitterness is the main profile,

On tap at the restaurant/brewpub in Escanaba. Clear straw body, medium off-white head. Grassy nose. Grassy, spicy, floral hops body with a crackery bite, quite full-flavored for the style. The bready malt features a touch of lemon. Dry, firm, bitter hops finish. Spritzy. Refreshing.

This beer was decidedly....not bad. Nothing to write home about, but mildly hoppy enough to keep my interest. A pale blonde color with some maltiness, a fair amount of hops, and a few off-notes. I wouldn’t strongly recommend, but I don’t feel it is as bad as portrayed here.

Not a big fan of golden and blonde ales. This was alright though. Nice flavor with appealing hops.

Thanks to skyview for sharing! Yellow body with frothy white head. Corn aroma with a watery malt body.

Thanks to Skyview again. Light hay and corn aroma. A little corn and sugar sweetness. Gold color. A very simple session beer that has little to offer, but is not offensive.

Muchas gracias to Skyview for hunting this stuff down and carting back to the clan. Golden color with no head. Aroma of sweet cardboard. Uh oh. The flavor screams corn. Slightly moldy corn at that. Not so kosher.

Picked up a single 22 oz bottle at Trig’s in Wausau, WI. (Ironic I did not even stop at the brewpub in town) Pours a semi-cloudy golden yellow brew with an average size white head. Aroma is very light, with hints of grass, hay, some citrus and cardboard. Flavor is better with corn malt, a hint of citrus and mild flowery hops. Carbonation is light with a medium/light body. Finish is a little flat. I put this into the lawn mower beer catagory.
