On tap at Cardinal. A more or less black beer with a creamy dark beige head leaving lacing. Roasted, chocolatey, nutty nose with a touch of bonfire and ashtray. Fine dried fruit hints in the far back. It's silky on the palate, dryish and roasted-bitter and full-bodied. Roasted malts, oat, nut notes, caramel, some chocolate and a touch of bonfire in the flavor. Some residual sweetness. Lasting roasted finish with nuts and chocolate. Very smooth and tasteful this one. 171020 rami_pl (4208) - Warszawa, POLAND - OCT 13, 2017

Coffee, dark, toasted, malts, dark chocolate, straw. Clear, very dark brown, medium, frothy, beige head. Light sweet. More chocolate, dark, toasted malts, light bitterness is coming up, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Very nice Porter, well-balanced. Keg at Beavertown Extravaganza 17, Canada Water. ken1 (2079) - DENMARK - SEP 30, 2017
Aroma: Roasted malt with chocolate and nuts.
Flavour: Roasted malt with chocolate and coffee. Aftertaste is bitter and nutty.
Colour: almost pitch black with an offwhite head. b3shine (9077) - Indiana, USA - SEP 1, 2017
Bomber to snifter (shared with the Mrs.). Looks good for the style; a slightly translucent dark brownish cola with foamy beige head. Smells and tastes of dark malt, dark chocolate, unsweetened hazelnut coffee, and roast. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied and pleasantly bitter. Enjoyable. Bomber shared with collegues. Pours a nice pitch black beer with a small beige ring of head on top. Aroma is like sniffing Nutella, lots of hazelnut, lots of chocolate, some vanilla and some caramel and a light roasty character. Really full aroma, lots of stuff going on here. Flavor is equal to the aroma, just an atomic bomb for the chocolate hazelnut flavors, but a little bit more of a roasty oomph compared to the aroma. Balance is awesome, carbonation is soft and easy. Great drinking experience here.
