Bomber to snifter (shared with the Mrs.). Looks good for the style; a slightly translucent dark brownish cola with foamy beige head. Smells and tastes of dark malt, dark chocolate, unsweetened hazelnut coffee, and roast. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied and pleasantly bitter. Enjoyable. Bomber shared with collegues. Pours a nice pitch black beer with a small beige ring of head on top. Aroma is like sniffing Nutella, lots of hazelnut, lots of chocolate, some vanilla and some caramel and a light roasty character. Really full aroma, lots of stuff going on here. Flavor is equal to the aroma, just an atomic bomb for the chocolate hazelnut flavors, but a little bit more of a roasty oomph compared to the aroma. Balance is awesome, carbonation is soft and easy. Great drinking experience here. stevoj (5369) - Boise, Idaho, USA - AUG 27, 2017
Nitro pour at the Taphouse. Milky dark brown, small creamy head settles out. Aroma favors the nuts, while taste brings in some dark chocolate bitterness. Then sweetness, and the nitro pour makes this creamy. Sweet and nutty throughout. Dervock (1407) - AUSTRALIA - JUL 7, 2017
Bottle - pours deep dark brown with a big tan head. Aroma is roast nuts, chocolate and cocoa. Taste is cocoa and burnt sugar upfront, with a building nutty dry roast malt finish. SVD (2053) - NETHERLANDS - JUN 18, 2017

Draft Heretic chocolate hazelnut porter. Hazelnut, chocolate, roasted malt, light fruitiness. Taste is the same with some more notes of roasted nuts. Good and light for a porter. j12601 (12982) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - MAY 29, 2017
On tap at Mission Creek. Pours a clear cola brown with a thin tan head. Nice nutty nose, chocolate and cocoa with a hint of sweetness, smells a touch like nutella, which I’m sure was the goal. Medium bodied, roast, chocolate, cocoa, milky sweetness, hazelnuts. Slow nutty roast on the finish, long chocolate and hazelnut. Creamy, smooth, tasty.

22oz bottle. Pours a very dark brown with a quickly dissipating tan head. Aroma is hazelnut, sweet malt, chocolate, very light roast, and a hint of coffee. Taste is hazelnut, some chocolate, a touch of roast, and a light fruitiness. Lingering earthy aftertaste with a light nuttiness, initially. Some alcohol in the finish. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Oily mouthfeel. thomat (3991) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAY 21, 2017
