Keg @ Canalhouse, Notts. Pours opaque black with beige head in a badly washed glass. Ferrero Rocher aroma, deliciously subtle chocolate and hazlenuts, roasted malts, rich silky smooth character. Lovely stuff.

On tap at Mission Creek. Pours a clear cola brown with a thin tan head. Nice nutty nose, chocolate and cocoa with a hint of sweetness, smells a touch like nutella, which I’m sure was the goal. Medium bodied, roast, chocolate, cocoa, milky sweetness, hazelnuts. Slow nutty roast on the finish, long chocolate and hazelnut. Creamy, smooth, tasty.

22oz bottle. Pours a very dark brown with a quickly dissipating tan head. Aroma is hazelnut, sweet malt, chocolate, very light roast, and a hint of coffee. Taste is hazelnut, some chocolate, a touch of roast, and a light fruitiness. Lingering earthy aftertaste with a light nuttiness, initially. Some alcohol in the finish. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Oily mouthfeel.

Draft at Row 34. Pours black with a khaki head. Leaves some lacing in the glass. Has some solid hazelnut and chocolate roast notes on the nose. There’s some hazelnut action on the tongue but the chocolate is faint. Finished clean but not spectacular.
