Poured from bomber bottle bought at bevmo.
Aroma - hop forward pineapple and citrus. Candy and dank pine.
Appearance - light gold and hazy. Thick off white head.
Flavor - zesty fruit and citrus. Nice hint of caramel malt and dark fruits balancing the hop profile. Clean yeast profile which helps the hops shine through.
Mouthfeel - medium carbonation. Finished nice and dry. Very refreshing.
Overall - very nice DIPA from Heretic. Great drinkable balance between the malt, hops, and alcohol. Very well made beer.

Mostly clear amber. Great hoppy pine fresh smells. Sticky but balanced bitter and finishes so smooth. Big but kept under control. elihapa (1554) - Honolulu, Hawaii, USA - MAR 10, 2014
Heretic Evil Cousin 9/1/13 notes: draft. Pours solidly gold with nice white lacing. Aroma is very floral with some tropical elements. Flavor has juicy citrus, nice sweet tangerine in middle, finish is hoppy with balanced bitterness. A very well crafted DIPA, packs a hop punch without being overbearing. 3.9. jonno (2771) - JAPAN - MAR 6, 2014
Dankl without being too over the top. Good representation of the style, though more subdued than some examples, this just bumps up the drink ability. HonkeyBra (4044) - Lemont, Illinois, USA - MAR 5, 2014
22 oz. bottle. Pours and orangish amber with a medium white head. Big, fresh pine and citrus peel aroma, mild orange and grapefruit, touches of lemon and herbal hop notes. Flavor is quite bitter with mild sweet malt notes. Mostly pine and citrus peel bitterness, powdered sugar and doughy malt sweetness. Medium bodied, average carbonation, sticky mouthfeel. Finishes fairly long and bitter. Nice.

This double IPA pours a transparent golden color with a solid white lacing that lasted the how whole pint. Has a distinct perfumey aroma that is appealing. This is pretty balanced beer, but definitely on the piney side. This beer is enjoyable and memorable had a distinct west coast identity. jjgmd (2164) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - MAR 3, 2014
Bomber. Pours a burnt orange cooper pour with a small head. Nose is more pine and resin than citrus. Taste is straight up front bitterness with resin and pine and some background citrus. Finish is strong bitterness and moderately long. Nice DIPA for true hopheads. Quaff Score 7 / 10 zgaier (1951) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - MAR 3, 2014
Pours a golden orange with a white head and hoppy, fruity, piney aroma. Taste is bitter up front, with underlying pine, fruits caramel, and resin leading to a big bitter, dry finish. Nice DIPA Wittales (762) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - MAR 1, 2014
Appearance was hazy orangish gold with rocky lasting off white 2 finger head, spotty lacing. Aromas are citrus fruits, sweet onion, pine, hints of danky hops with sweet crystal malt undertones. Taste was sweet toffee base with grapefruit, peach, lemon, sticky pine, no alcohol. Palate was soft creamy CO2 with medium-full body, sticky oily smooth lasting fruity piney finish. I wish I had this fresher, bet the fruits where brighter. beertholomeus (1813) - California, USA - FEB 28, 2014
Pours a crisp golden color with a white head. Hop, caramel, citrus and pine aroma. Hop, pine, citrus, caramel, honey and malt flavors. Medium body and carbonation. Bitter with a hoppy finish.
