WEmp. Hazy orange/gold, persistent thick white head. Citrus and herbal aggressive hops are both bitter and aromatic. Tangy and spiky with light fizz, with a long bitter finish. Top DIPA this one. Nickls (2535) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - DEC 28, 2013
Tap. Clear orange, light eggshell head. Aroma indicates that it’s faded, with candy slight citrus and sweet malts in the aroma. Flavor is the same with dusty citrus notes and sweet. Medium body. Pdowns916 (9) - Travis AFB, California, USA - DEC 24, 2013 does not count
On tap @ Heretic.. Nice light copper pour, two finger eggshell head. Smells of pine and tropical fruit. Taste is same with a light malt character.

UPDATED: APR 20, 2014 22 oz Bomber. The beer pours to a reddish orange color with a thick white head. The aroma has pine, grapefruit, slight floral scent to it. The taste is medium in body with a good malt balance to the heavy dose of hops. Overall a very good DIPA. emartell (352) - Zapopan, Jalisco, MEXICO - DEC 6, 2013
Aroma con notas abundantes a citrico, destacando la cascara de naranja. También se percibe una intensa pero agradable nota a lupulo.
Sorprende su excelente equilibrio y gran final.

Light golden in color. Very carbonated. Smells nice and hoppy. Very good, balanced beer, fruity! In a blind taste test with Pliny, evil cousin, enjoy by, and a few others I chose Pliny and evil cousin as a tie for the best IPA. This is a delicious IPA, definitely one of the best I've had.

Pours cloudy yellow/orange with a quickly disappearing large white head. This beer is very hoppy, piney and full of citrus flavors. The alcohol flavor is covered up nicely. Good DIPA!! Hop_Hedonist (597) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - NOV 26, 2013
UPDATED: SEP 6, 2014 Sept 2014 - A solid DIPA - easy to drink - no alcohol taste - this batch has plenty more malt than I remember, which is the first taste I get then great herbal hoppiness balances. Good ale and marked better than previous. arminjewell (9646) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - NOV 14, 2013
Pour on tap at GABF, clear orange pour with white head, aroma brought dank and weedy hops, pine, grass, slight orange in there as well, hints of grapefruit as well go into some biscuit, bready malts. Taste is a mix of pine, weed, dank, slight grapefruit and orange into biscuit, bread, finishing fairly bitter. RedSox2004 (1890) - Pacific Palisades, California, USA - NOV 9, 2013
Pours clear golden orange with a bright whtite head that fades quickly to a nice film and leaves heavy lace. Sharp citrus aromas, mostly grapefruit, orange, and tangerine. Some pine and grassy notes as well. Flavors are similar, but with plenty of sweet malt to balance things out. Big bitterness and sweetness battle it out like a couple of heavyweights, with the sweet malt taking gold. Medium body and carbonation, oily slick and smoothe on the palate, dry and bitter finish. Notable ABV here is hidden but certainly present. A bit over the top on the bitterness and sweetness - one is certainly enough. O: Big, complex, balanced, and powerful. A nice tribute to a classic.
