Evil Cousin is Heretic’s take on a West coast imperial IPA. This beer is a bold, in-your-face hop monster. It has a light, easy drinking malt character that allows the hops to stand out. The hop character in this beer is intentionally on the dank side; big, sticky, and aggressive. This beer is for those of you who can’t get enough hops. Join us on the dank side.

Sampled in a bomber. A big time ipa with a huge bite. A really enjoyable slow drinking ipa. Has a very floral aroma and long lasting palate boost. Great brew.

On tap at GABF, pours a hazy yellow gold with medium white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is floral, grapefruit, resin. Slick body, grapefruit, dank, lingering bitterness, very good.

Grovlam (4257) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 8, 2017
Can. Small fizzy white head that mostly disappeared. Cloudy golden color. Aroma of citrus, fruit, gain. Over the palate came light bitter citrus fruit, light sweet malt. Medium body. Sweet and bitter flavor. Lingering bittersweet citrus flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A nice piney DIPA. Instead of being called Evil Cousin it should be called Evil One Night Stand because it's going down easy and will likely make me regret how many I had in the morning. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Intense tropical fruits, unripe mango, passion fruit, pine, bitter citrus fruits. Clear gold, massive, creamy, white head. Light bitter. More bitter citrus fruits, bitter orange peel, overripe tropical fruits, mango, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Not quite balanced. Keg at GABF17, Denver.

Cloudy and limited bubbles. Light gold oatmeal color. Sweet followed by tangy. Some creamy full mouth taste. Tangy lasting on edge of tongue. Little sharp initially but turns into very nice IPA. Enjoyable ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

PorterPounder (8358) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - OCT 6, 2017
Palm Beach Gardens, Fl. -Total Wine & more - 12 oz can. Pours a slightly sparkling light golden. Light, sticky off-white head that clings to the edge of the glass. Aroma has some sweet doughy accents, some piney essence. Flavor is full-bodied with plenty of fresh hoppy grapefruity goodness with some maple syrup and passion fruit thrown in there for good measure. Sweet doughy accents in the back end with a hint of vanilla. Sticky thick mouthfeel. Very solid.

Iznogud (4692) - CROATIA - SEP 17, 2017
On tap at Zeitgeist, San Francisco. Pours hazy golden with medium white head. Hoppy, pine, some fruit, caramel, malty, sweet. Moderate+ bitterness in finish. Medium bodied. Seemed bit "tired"

Medium fluffy head, hazy, golden. Sweet oily citrus in the aroma, some floral notes. Full body, medium bitterness turning into a solid grapefruit bitter finish. Some tropical fruit in the taste. Not great, but very well

LCI. Uit blik gedronken. Heerlijke bittere en hoppige dipa, klein zoetje, fruitig, prima op zo’n zomerse dag!
