COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This blood-red ale may not be what you might expect from a malty and hoppy craft beer. Evil Twin has a rich malt character, without being overly sweet. It has a huge hop character, without being overly bitter. It is a great example of a bold, rich, balanced craft beer, without being heavy and hard to drink in quantity. Our Evil Twin is only bad because it is too good to resist.

Final maltado seguindo as impressões iniciais do aroma, lúpulo menos presente, amadeirada.

I would drink it again. Good winter beer.

12oz can. Pours red with an off white head. Nice hop aroma. Note of citrus, pine, dark fruits, more. This is great! Nice surprise from a brewery I hadn’t heard of before. Gonna load up on more of this as well as try some of their other brews if I can find them.

maekchu (4054) - Hirakata, JAPAN - MAR 16, 2016
Can from World Beer Market (Sake no Taniguchi). Deep piney hop aroma, with caramel, roast, and grass. Clear dark reddish-brown color (kinda blood-like on pouring out), with a small head that dissipates quickly to a flat slickness. A dance of bitter hops and sweet medium roast maltiness, earthy, caramel, and some citrus. Medium body, but could use a little more carbonation. Well-balanced stuff. Fresh and zippy.

Capa (3437) - Kitsap, Washington, USA - MAR 16, 2016
Grabbed a can of this in Korea and then promptly forgot about it till I was checking out of my hotel room. I popped it open and drank it down before leaving, glad I did. Nice fruity and malt profile. Candied citrus and a big caramel note linger throughout. Medium bitterness in the finish. Full bodied. Very good brew.

Pours deep mahogany into a shaker. Tan head with medium retention recedes to nothing. Caramel and citrus aromas. Soft with dark caramel and resin front to back. Lasting nutty earth finish.
