This blood-red ale may not be what you might expect from a malty and hoppy craft beer. Evil Twin has a rich malt character, without being overly sweet. It has a huge hop character, without being overly bitter. It is a great example of a bold, rich, balanced craft beer, without being heavy and hard to drink in quantity. Our Evil Twin is only bad because it is too good to resist.

Draft @ Beer Temple, sample size. Clear red color. Off white head. Aroma’s: resinous, caramel, light citrus. Retronasal there’s way more citrus, to the point of being sour, light caramel malt. Flavor is moderate sweet, moderate bitter. Medoum bodied. Rather bitter finish. Nice!

A can I brought with me from my trip to Florida in february. An amber ale with 6.8% ABV. The beer pours clear, mahogany colored with a three finger high, fluffy, head with a yellow color.

Nose: Orange marmalade, dried fruit, caramel malt, pine and resin.
Taste: Caramel malt, hops, vanilla, pine, resin, bread and dried fruit.
Mouth: Light to medium carbonation. Full body. Sweet and dry ending.
Bitterness stays on the tongue for several minutes.

This is really good!

Brown color, hazy. Medium body, flavorful, low key, rather flat mouthfeel, short on heat and carbonation (cask), average length. Moderate bitterness, off dry, low acidity. Juicy, more malt than hops, grape. Different, very pleasant. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can to glass, raisin sweetish aroma, slight citrus/pine. . Slightly reddish, mainly brown, small head. Flavor is mainly malty, some slight citrus, rough gritty bitterness finish. In fairness, was purchased in FL, no date on can seen, not sure if expired.

Dark Amber with thick cream head. Big grassy hops on the nose. Really smooth & creamy with a balanced bitter end. Grassy & citrus with a hint of pineapple. This is a beautiful beer. Rated by BrewTom

Pours ruby red with a beige head. Aroma is biscuits, bread and malt. It’s a very biscuity, malty flavour.

Bottle. Rich caramel aroma with a hint of citrus. Pours dark brown with a frothy yellowish well retaining head. Nicely balance flavour with lemon citrus mixed with caramel and brown sugar malts. Creamy texture. Mild bitter finish. Very drinkable.
