Can at home. Aroma is toasted bready malts, caramel, fruity hops, grapefruit, pine resin. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and moderate to medium bitter. Body is medium. Both robust and refreshing, I like the malt/hop balance. Very good. bdleedahl (594) - , Saskatchewan, CANADA - JUN 5, 2016
A nice mildly hopped dark ipa. Good balance of roasted malts and hop bitterness. Very slight astringent taste to my palate. Overall slightly above average for the style.

Aroma is big resin-y hops forward with sweet caramel malt and hint of chocolate. Appearance is dark brown with a bit of ruby red, froth yoff white head retaining well. Taste is well balanced with hop bitterness and sweet malt... caramel and chocolate. How flavoring blends right in and lifts up the malt. Palate is medium plus. A drinkable beer though. Nice amount of alcohol without being a monster beer. Overall a well crafted beer. Fun to drink and flavors are all quite nice. Could use a little more malt depth if Im being picky, but my can says it is almost 6 months since canning. Will likely buy this again, good solid beer. UPDATED: JUN 11, 2016 starts off pretty boozy but turns into a sweet malt and finishes with hops. The malt is sweet but not rot your teeth sweet and its quite enjoyable. Well balanced. williamstome (1958) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAY 19, 2016
Deep ruby, small brown head. Aroma of roast, chocolate, melon and fruit. Flavor of fruit, citrus, nut, roast, chocolate, with a bitter finish.

Can sample at Växjö Ölfestival, thanks DM! Clear reddish amber with off white head. Aroma of resin, grapefruit, pine, spicy rye and caramel. Taste is nicely balanced, hoppy, nice clean maltiness, caramel, pine, resin and light fruit. JorisPPattyn (10062) - BELGIUM - APR 10, 2016
Good beige head over hazy dark chestnut beer; Very fruity & hoppy nose. Black IPA flavour, faintly roasted, grapey and fruity hops. Bitter flavours, even wry in the finish. Dry, wry MF, dry bitter aftertaste. Quite nice dark IPA! tedvard (31) - - APR 10, 2016
Can. Pours ruby red with minimal head. Big fruity hops on the nose with a hint of peaches and grapefruit. Malty in the taste but well balanced by a hoppy bitterness. Neither are over powering. Long hoppy finish.
