COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This blood-red ale may not be what you might expect from a malty and hoppy craft beer. Evil Twin has a rich malt character, without being overly sweet. It has a huge hop character, without being overly bitter. It is a great example of a bold, rich, balanced craft beer, without being heavy and hard to drink in quantity. Our Evil Twin is only bad because it is too good to resist.

Bottle, 10C. Dark red with a large beige head. Aroma of oranges and chocolate, toast, white pepper, soap, herbs, aging lawn clippings. Medium bodied, slightly creamy. Taste has toffee and nuts, oranges, peaches, pepper, galangal. Long, spiced and herbal finish with moderate bitterness. Interesting.

Can to glass, raisin sweetish aroma, slight citrus/pine. . Slightly reddish, mainly brown, small head. Flavor is mainly malty, some slight citrus, rough gritty bitterness finish. In fairness, was purchased in FL, no date on can seen, not sure if expired.

Dark Amber with thick cream head. Big grassy hops on the nose. Really smooth & creamy with a balanced bitter end. Grassy & citrus with a hint of pineapple. This is a beautiful beer. Rated by BrewTom

Bottle. Rich caramel aroma with a hint of citrus. Pours dark brown with a frothy yellowish well retaining head. Nicely balance flavour with lemon citrus mixed with caramel and brown sugar malts. Creamy texture. Mild bitter finish. Very drinkable.

On tap @ BrewDog Camden. A really good looking white superbly lacing head on this one. The beer itself is a soft cloudy golden looking one. Smells really melony and zesty. Yeast, yes theres a sticky sweetness here also. Tones of dried fruits. Yeah, a really acceptable nose for sure. Tastes quite good also. Its nice and oily in the texture and soft prickling on the bubbles. Wish it had a bit more kick on the bubbles, but thats most likely caused its been idle for a while in the glass. Its well hopped, melony in the taste also. I get a good amount of piney bitter hops here. A little alco warmth in the tail. Really nice to sip on. 14.08.2015

Clear umber when held to the light with just a hint of cherry. Taller, somewhat fluffy tan head. Pine and citrus dominate the nose, with a bit of toasted malt in the undertones. Light sweetness in the front, whisked away and accompanied by woody pine and a bit of citrus. A it fruity in the finish. Linger is rather dry.

On tap at an SFO bar. Colour...I wouldnt call this "blood red" but it is a garnet hued amber. Nose...piney hops with plenty of malt. Palate...full, round and tight with biting hops. The mid palate is dryish and quite malty with a roasty bit and graham cracker. The finish is long and kind of boozy for the ABV.
