Mitch, Tasty and Jamil went old school in this triple IPA, using a darker crystal malt; like back in the day. Paired up with citrusy Amarillo and mellony Australian Summer hops, we’ve got a great balance of malt and bitterness to delight your pallet.

11.6%ABV. Triple IPA.

Poured out rich gold. 10SRM.

Nose has fresh citrus with a strong piney aroma. There are hints of lime zest and kaffir lime leaf and a hint of lemon-lime soda.

Mouthfeel is soapy and creamy. It’s bizarre, but my first impression was egg cream. Palate has pale honey, Maltesers, Horlicks. Hops are spicy with scallion and cilantro, flowing gently into pine, pine sap, dipping into resin and then fading into grass and then sweet grass. A very very smooth hop transition. Only the residual back of the throat warmth is the only suggestion of the ABV. I really appreciate it not being aggressive on the front.

Finish is surprisingly medium with light bitter flavors.

Goes on Favorites List!
