This beer is amazing. first off it’s 4.4 which..come on..i don’t usually shoot that low on an abv but i knew Jamil brewed this so here we go..Aroma: like i opened a fresh bag of rye bread. We might need a reuben version of this beer but i digress..the taste: straight up gangsta..super rye and oh what is that? a nice lil sour finish to make your day. Man i love this one. Aroma: Medium-high grapefruit pith, Medium guava. Medium-light spiciness.
Appearance: Clear, copper body. Medium, off-white head. Good retention. Lacing.
Flavour: Medium malt, bready. Medium-light bitterness. Medium hops, grapefruit. Very dry finish, lingering grapefruit, spiciness.
Mouthfeel: Medium body. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Wow! Well balanced, great flavours.

A - Pours a clear amber-orange with a finger of frothy white head. The head fades down at a normal pace leaving behind some nice lacing.
S - Aroma is a mix of grapefruit and pine hops with some sweet caramel malts, spicy rye, and a touch of bready malts.
T - Starts off with a mix of grapefruit and citrus hops with some bitterness and some sweet caramel malts. Through the middle, some pine and floral hops come through with some more bitterness and some spicy and earthy rye. The finish is a mix of grapefruit and pine hops, bitterness, spicy rye notes, and some sweet, lightly bready malts.
M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a dry, bitter, and earthy finish.

It pours a pretty dark orange color with plenty of bubbly action going from the bottom of the glass up. The aroma is primarily rye to me. Usually with rye beers that is a flavor that is part of the whole package and not up front and center. Here it is right on the nose. Has quite a bit of carbonation in the flavor that is followed to the tongue by the rye which is almost bready at this point and then the bitterness which really lingers at the back. Had a pint on tap. Man, I’d session the crap out of this. Delicious and refreshing, a little spicy and remarkable body for 4.4%.
