This beer is amazing. first off itís 4.4 which..come on..i donít usually shoot that low on an abv but i knew Jamil brewed this so here we go..Aroma: like i opened a fresh bag of rye bread. We might need a reuben version of this beer but i digress..the taste: straight up gangsta..super rye and oh what is that? a nice lil sour finish to make your day. Man i love this one. Canít wait for the "Gramarye" aged on sourkraut. Salute. AtronSeige (1519) - Johannesburg, SOUTH AFRICA - MAR 7, 2016

A - Pours a clear amber-orange with a finger of frothy white head. The head fades down at a normal pace leaving behind some nice lacing.
S - Aroma is a mix of grapefruit and pine hops with some sweet caramel malts, spicy rye, and a touch of bready malts.
T - Starts off with a mix of grapefruit and citrus hops with some bitterness and some sweet caramel malts. Through the middle, some pine and floral hops come through with some more bitterness and some spicy and earthy rye. The finish is a mix of grapefruit and pine hops, bitterness, spicy rye notes, and some sweet, lightly bready malts.
M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a dry, bitter, and earthy finish.
D - Very drinkable. Nice hopp rye pale ale. Great overall balance with some good rye character. mrhoppy (1288) - Santa Clara, California, USA - JAN 2, 2013
I can see how this won at GABF. Pretty good. Remember this is a session ale. A pretty flavorful one at that. Very drinkable with a nice hoppy rye punch to it. I would love to try it on tap. Preferably the bottom of the keg. Sledutah (7491) - Utah, USA - SEP 24, 2013

Clear dark golden with a medium sized off-white head and good lacing. Aroma is floral and earthy. Flavors are floral and citrus
Very nice and clean. Iíd love to drink this every day
Corney tap at Evernote. Aroma is hops, pepper, spicy, sugary. Great balance of malt and hops with a lovely peppery and spicy addition. Session IPAs are becoming my favorite style. Excellent. mikedR (1561) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - FEB 11, 2015
For a session, this is quite good. Getting the rye notes. A little watery compared to other sessions, tho. beersearcher (2382) - Glendale, California, USA - JAN 7, 2013
It pours a pretty dark orange color with plenty of bubbly action going from the bottom of the glass up. The aroma is primarily rye to me. Usually with rye beers that is a flavor that is part of the whole package and not up front and center. Here it is right on the nose. Has quite a bit of carbonation in the flavor that is followed to the tongue by the rye which is almost bready at this point and then the bitterness which really lingers at the back. I am also getting some vanilla notes as well. All of this at 4.4% abv. No wonder it won gold. joshwoodward (575) - - JUL 19, 2013
Had a pint on tap. Man, Iíd session the crap out of this. Delicious and refreshing, a little spicy and remarkable body for 4.4%. ManvsCity (183) - Austin, Texas, USA - OCT 16, 2013
Bomber from Total Wine in Thousand Oaks, CA. Deep copper pour with a moderate and persistent off-white head. tons of lacing. Nutty, honey, fresh baked bread crust, and floral hop aroma. Smooth malty mouthfeel, with a pronounced crisp toasted rye flavor. Very dry, hoppy finish that lingers. For such an easy drinkiní beer, this has a load of depth.
