Nose is tight. Mouth feel could pass for 3.5. Flavour wise it just barely hits all the marks. smith4498 (3646) - Winter Springs, Florida, USA - NOV 17, 2014

Bottle... Pours dark brown (nearly black) with a small, dense, mushroom-colored head. Decent retention. The aroma is a melange of chocolate creme, toasted tree nuts and vanilla. Medium-bodied with a skim-milk mouthfeel and tickling carbonation. The flavor is burnt and moderately bitter with a carbonic, charcoal finish. Well-crafted and cleanly brewed. sunevdj (4087) - Copenhagen OE, DENMARK - OCT 19, 2014
On tap at Devils Craft. Pours a clear dark brown/black with a tiny head. Sweet with a light dryness. Aromas of lightly toasted malts with hints of caramel. Also hints of turf and tiny hints of band aid. Medium bodied. Soft carbonation. Dry finish with more turf.

At the brewery taproom. Dark brown pour with a thin tan head and some tan lacing. Chocolate and a hint of toffee in the nose. Big roasted malt and bitter character. Slight bitter finish that is very dry. Yummy. nickd717 (4690) - San Francisco, California, USA - OCT 4, 2014
Bomber from PlumpJack. Black in color with a really nice tan head. Big chocolate aroma with caramel and toffee and molasses. Mildly sweet flavor with caramel yielding to a bitter coffee and cocoa finish. Soft palate with average carbonation. Really nice porter. Fatehunter (2567) - Corbett, Oregon, USA - SEP 27, 2014

A superb porter. glennmastrange (2869) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - SEP 26, 2014
UPDATED: NOV 15, 2014 Bottle. Moderate to heavy malt notes of dark toasted dark bread, dark chocolate and mild coffee, light resin and earth for the hops and yeast. Head is small, frothy/creamy, light brown with good lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is very dark brown. Flavor starts lightly sweet and acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is on the fuller side of medium, creamy with a carbonation between lively and fizzy and finishes very dry. A rich and tasty Porter with a dry and bitter finish. slowrunner77 (12043) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 24, 2014
UPDATED: FEB 9, 2015 "Starts out with a nice robust aroma of malted chocolate, dark fruit, caramel. Flavor is nice if a little muddled. More sweet, less roast than I’d like. But that said it was still Pretty nice."
A brewery visit has me questioning the bottle quality from these guys as EVERYTHING including this was significantly better on tap. Not just a little. Nice rich robust porter. 3.2-3.8.
