Bomber from PlumpJack. Black in color with a really nice tan head. Big chocolate aroma with caramel and toffee and molasses. Mildly sweet flavor with caramel yielding to a bitter coffee and cocoa finish. Soft palate with average carbonation. Really nice porter.

UPDATED: NOV 15, 2014 Bottle. Moderate to heavy malt notes of dark toasted dark bread, dark chocolate and mild coffee, light resin and earth for the hops and yeast. Head is small, frothy/creamy, light brown with good lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is very dark brown. Flavor starts lightly sweet and acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is on the fuller side of medium, creamy with a carbonation between lively and fizzy and finishes very dry. A rich and tasty Porter with a dry and bitter finish.

UPDATED: FEB 9, 2015 "Starts out with a nice robust aroma of malted chocolate, dark fruit, caramel. Flavor is nice if a little muddled. More sweet, less roast than Id like. But that said it was still Pretty nice." A brewery visit has me questioning the bottle quality from these guys as EVERYTHING including this was significantly better on tap. Not just a little. Nice rich robust porter. 3.2-3.8.

Bottle at GBBF thanks to ian. Dark caramel coloured beer. Aroma is sweet nutty berry and choc raisin. Flavour is nice clean nutty chic and raisin. Clean cal ale ferment. Bit too clean and refined. Palate is medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Solid. Good work jamil.
