22 oz bottle. Bottled 08/13/15. Courtesy of olio. Black color with a small tan head. Licorice, dark malt and some dryness in a mild aroma. The flavor is dark malt, licorice, mild bitterness and dryness. A bit fizzy. I'm a bit disappointed. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

65 cl bottle @ Timo A. Bottled on 03.08.2015.
Pours dark mahogany color with a small head. Nutty aroma, licorice, dark chocolate and faint vanilla notes. Flavor is chocolate and vanilla, accompanied by licorice and roasted malts. Dry malty palate, short dry finish too. Pleasant and quaffable, a bit too light, I like the licorice though.

Bomber poured in a pint glass. Pours black with a thin mocha brown head and a bit of lacing. Chocolate aroma with burnt caramel, dark fruits, toffee, molasses and finishes with a black licorice note. A very nice porter.

he brew is dark brown but still has great clarity. drapes of lace as the brew drops... Wow.. the nose on this one is fantastic .. it just smells "brown" ... chocolate ... brownie batter ... deep caramel essence ... great malt profile without too much hop presence messing up a good thing. Flavor begins with a nice dark malt bite.. chocolate/carob... lite coffee and roasty malt.. a bit of malt sweetness makes the roast components linger for a bit.. long lasting finish.. almost like a liqueur.. Body is medium and nicely coating.. sorta lighter carbonation lends to a higher drinkability with the overall brew... I dig this one for sure.

Aroma is roasted malts, oats, caramel, and a slight oakiness. Taste is rich sweet malts and caramel. Paired well with light clove and slight earthiness. Appearance is dark black with a thin beige head that retains quite well.

Bottle:   Nearly black, deep cola hued edges, frothty beige head, little lacing.   Mild roasted malt nose, a little lactose like sweetness.   Similar on the tongue.   Mild to moderate roastiness.   Very faint sweetness, at least not as much as the nose suggested.   Low hop bitterness, seems to be mostly like this roasted malt bitterness.   Body and mouthfeel are light to moderate.   Wished this one had a bit more body.   Soft roastiness on the finish.   Pretty simple, what I would say a good pedestrian example.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is low roastiness, lots of dark chocolate and some fruitiness. In taste similar. With nice low roasty and low bitter finish. Medium bodied, softly carbonated, really smooth. Great porter, very tasty.

Draft at TRT while I sopped. Poured a pitch black body with a small bubbly light beige head. Aroma starts off with burnt toast, dry dark chocolate, earth, newspaper and some nut shells. Medium to fuller body with softer to average carbonation and a lingering earthy aftertaste. Flavor is basically the same as the aroma with a touch of burnt coffee beans and a strong earthy nut shell finish.
