COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Shallow Grave Porter is dark as night, perfect for a cool evening out in the woods. This a big, dark ale with a complex and rich chocolate and caramel malt character followed by a touch of warmth and light malt sweetness, leaving you ready for more after each shovelful. You will love this so much you won’t have time to dig a six-footer, so make it a Shallow Grave. We’re sure you’ll dig it.

Jado (798) - Camp Hill, AUSTRALIA - JUN 27, 2016
750 ml bottle. Mostly black body (thin brown highlight at the edge) topped by a creamy cappuccino like head. Light aromas but some cocoa, vanilla, cherry and almond come through. Flavours of milk coffee, light chocolate, vanilla and soft dark fruit in the mouth. Velvety mouth feel is a real highlight. Finishes fairly dry leading into a light chocolate aftertaste. Really enjoyed this.

Huge amount of coffee scent with sweet milk chocolate then the roasted malts finish this my nose could live in brew. Smooth silk like black color with small tan head that does not last. Sweet chocolate starts off the complex flavor of this porter. Then followed by tons of bittersweat chocolate with a touch of roasted malts and then some hop bitterness that smooths into creaminess at the very end. Full cream like body with great carbonation for the style. The best porter I’ve ever drank to date. You guy make grew brews don’t ever stop. Awesome brew, will drink again.

Another well-made heretic beer, but unfortunately nothing special about it other than it was nicely brewed.  ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On Tap @ Bay Area Craft Beer Festival, Martinez, California (16.04.2016)
Gęsty, czarny, nieprzejrzysty trunek. Bardzo dobra kremowa piana. Do samego końca pozostaje na szkle. Bardzo solidna paloność. Akcenty kawy i gęstej mlecznej, a potem gorzkiej czekolady. Umiarkowana goryczka, czysty gładki czekoladowo-palony finisz.

APPEARANCE- Looks like it is dark enough to have come from a grave. Beauty nougat colored head too. NOSE- Smells slightly chocolaty and slightly roasty. Not overwhelming. FLAVOR- thin body, but amazing depth. The sip evolves from front to back starting with nit of bitterness and ending with the slightest chocolate sweetness. NOTES- Very solid porter. Bordering on stout.

AtronSeige (1519) - Johannesburg, SOUTH AFRICA - APR 5, 2016
Aroma: Medium roasty, grape, Medium-light coffee. Light lactic. Appearance: Clear, very dark body with red highlights. Massive light-brown head, large bubbles, rocky. Good retention. Flavour: Medium high roast, bitterness. Medium coffee, grape. Light lactic. Dry finish with lingering roast. Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium-light carbonation. Medium warming. Overall: Not sure if the lactic is an infection or on purpose. "Light warming" is an understatement. Otherwise the beer is nice. 660 ml bottle, poured. Thanks Andre!
