Bottle. Pours dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is low roastiness, lots of dark chocolate and some fruitiness. In taste similar. With nice low roasty and low bitter finish. Medium bodied, softly carbonated, really smooth. Great porter, very tasty. dmac (6451) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - AUG 27, 2015
Draft at TRT while I sopped. Poured a pitch black body with a small bubbly light beige head. Aroma starts off with burnt toast, dry dark chocolate, earth, newspaper and some nut shells. Medium to fuller body with softer to average carbonation and a lingering earthy aftertaste. Flavor is basically the same as the aroma with a touch of burnt coffee beans and a strong earthy nut shell finish. BRW (3073) - Barcelona, SPAIN - AUG 22, 2015

750ml bottle. 4/3/15 production date. Appearance: Deep brown/ black and opaque, with a light brown, thick bubbled foam cap.
Aroma: Light roasted coffee, chocolate, with a light touch of fruitiness
Taste: Rich malt sweetness, light roasted malt, dark chocolate, caramel, and toast.
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body, with moderately low carbonation.
Finish: lingering roast and bitterness, but very smooth and pleasant
Overall: A very smooth and roasty American Porter. Strong, flavorful malt showcase without any harsh or acrid flavor. Well done.

Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, chocolate sweet, roasted - coffe bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Draught at Keyaki. Average porter with a dark chocolate profile, some burnt malt, bitter finish. Not too impressive, just another porter really.
