Clear dark black brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, sweet chocolate, bitter coffee. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, chocolate sweet, roasted - coffe bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Tasting at Bruce’s Pad. Thanks to Colin. Opaque black - brown beer, good mid-tan head. Airy palate. Mildly tangy dark malts. Touch of lactose. That’s about it. A pretty dull porter.

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Colin. Pours clear, dark brown with a fine, creamy tan head. Tangy dark malts in the nose, a bit of cocoa, earth, dark berries. Light to medium sweet flavor with charred toast, burnt earth, mild tangy berries, moderate roast. Medium bodied with fine to average, massaging carbonation.
