Tqp. Very slightly hazy light orange pour with a quickly dissipating white head. Aroma of lemon zest and wheat. Light palate. Some grass, wheat, and a touch of hops on taste. Pretty darn good for the style. JK (6249) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - APR 3, 2011
A decent pilsner. Not as good as the Czech pils, the hops are much lighter and I do not think this gets to a Bohemian pilsner. Still, very drinkable, not complaints really as it is a solid beer. Skyview (6093) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - JAN 3, 2010
On draught at the Herkimer brewpub in uptown Minneapolis, MN. Pours a clear pale golden yellow colored brew with a fast dissipating white head that leaves behind a thin ring. Aroma of golden grain malt, a hint of grassy hops and some lemon zest. Taste is light to medium bodied with flavors of golden grain malt with some grassy hops and a touch of honey. Finish is semi-dry with a short lived grassy hop bitterness then a crisp finish with no aftertaste. badgerben (5281) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - NOV 11, 2004
Gold color with no head. Very plain aroma of dry hops. Basic, dry, Saax taste with a touch of malt. It’s not bad, certainly are worse pils, but it’s nothing to jump for joy about. muzzlehatch (4970) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 26, 2006
Draught pint at the brewpub, early October 2006. Bubbly oily gold with just a touch of head that recedes quickly....nose is predominantly thick bready malts, modest Saaz hops, nothing too exciting though pleasant and full enough....body is very full, solidly fresh-hoppy throughout with a solid malt background, nice light herbal touches particularly late, with tingly moderate carbonation. Pretty decent attempt overall.

Plain yellow color. Extremely mild aroma. Big-time Saaz?--dry bitterness on back of palate. A bit too heavily bitter for my taste but adequately restrained compared to others in the style. beastiefan2k (4053) - HdG (past: NYC, KS, Rain City), Maryland, USA - APR 30, 2009
Draft @ brewpub. Pours is golden with a lightly sticky lacing. Aroma is crisp, lemon-y, with a strong herbal, German hoppiness. Right on the money I say. Its very clean and sharp. Taste is there but there is just a little hint of diacetyl but it doesn’t interfere too much with the other pils aspects. Has a good bitterness to the flavor. Very dry at the end. Just neet to get rid of that diacetyl a little more. esjaygee (3904) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 20, 2011
On tap at Herkimer Pub & Brewery. Hazy yellow with a thin off-white head. Aroma of noble hops, corn, malt and grains. Taste of grains, sweet malt, mild corn, noble hops and light fruit. jazz88 (2683) - San Francisco, California, USA - DEC 28, 2003
Tap @ brewpub. Light yellow color with a white head. A grainy malt texture with a cardboard flavor, but it had a sufficient amount of hops to make it worth finishing. BDR (2534) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - DEC 18, 2009
A light color with faint head. A malty aroma that was pleasant, despite lacking the hoppy aroma promised. The body was a bit more on par. A smooth malty body with a light bitterness and a distinct hop character (saaz???).
