This beer pours a clear light gold, topped by a slim head of white foam. The slim head that remains gives good spotty lace. Nice pilsner malt and Noble hop aroma - slight sweet, slightly tangy, and nice and spicy.
I really enjoy the flavor of this beer. A lightly grainy malt, a fantastic spicy bitterness in the hops. Light body - true to style. Crisp clean and refreshing, delightfully drinkable. beastiefan2k (4054) - HdG (past: NYC, KS, Rain City), Maryland, USA - APR 30, 2009
Draft @ brewpub. Pours is golden with a lightly sticky lacing. Aroma is crisp, lemon-y, with a strong herbal, German hoppiness. Right on the money I say. Its very clean and sharp. Taste is there but there is just a little hint of diacetyl but it doesn’t interfere too much with the other pils aspects. Has a good bitterness to the flavor. Very dry at the end. Just neet to get rid of that diacetyl a little more. muzzlehatch (4970) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 26, 2006
Draught pint at the brewpub, early October 2006. Bubbly oily gold with just a touch of head that recedes quickly....nose is predominantly thick bready malts, modest Saaz hops, nothing too exciting though pleasant and full enough....body is very full, solidly fresh-hoppy throughout with a solid malt background, nice light herbal touches particularly late, with tingly moderate carbonation. Pretty decent attempt overall. RagallachMC (631) - Cleveland, Ohio, USA - APR 10, 2007
Draft at the brewpub. Aroma: Light grainy maltiness with a nice dose of saaz hops. A noticeable sulphur note, as well. Appearance: Light golden in color and clear. White head was small and foamy with decent retention. Fair lacing. Flavor: Grainy maltiness upfront gives way to a floral hop flavor. Bitterness was just enough to cleanse the palate. Finishes crisp and clean. Palate: Medium bodied. Medium carbonation. Overall: A good, uncomplicated pils. Nice flavor and drinkable. ElGaucho (2401) - Minnetonka, Minnesota, USA - AUG 25, 2003
Light, somewhat fruity aroma, but with some off notes. No visible carbonation. Small, white head. Good lace. Some sweetness on the tongue with a bitter twang; actually tasty. There is a hint of off-flavors, but they don't truly come through. A nice hoppy, pilsener that is worth your while.

Standard clear yellow in color, somewhat pale with a thick medium sized head of bright white frothy puffed cream that fades some to leave a solid haze on top and lots of lace in sheets. Smell is light crispy sweet malts with a small mineral/herbal sense, alot like what your hands smell like after working in the garden, plants and dirt but in a lighter sense. Taste is nice lightly frothy sweet malts with crisp herbal hops, a bit musty with a crisp easy finish. Feel is lighter, fairly close to medium body, light dry and crisp finish, pretty simple yet approachable, refreshing, and moderately enjoyable. badgerben (5281) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - NOV 11, 2004
Gold color with no head. Very plain aroma of dry hops. Basic, dry, Saax taste with a touch of malt. It’s not bad, certainly are worse pils, but it’s nothing to jump for joy about. IPAndy (120) - minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAR 17, 2007
1st, they have to pour this in something other than a shaker. No real head builds up and it makes it look really uninteresting. The flavor is much better though, a nice bitter punch with a clean malt backbone. Gurst (338) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - MAY 7, 2007
Light, buzzing hops as the main taste. Some weak malts come into play, but never leading. In a word: drinkable. BDR (2534) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - DEC 18, 2009
A light color with faint head. A malty aroma that was pleasant, despite lacking the hoppy aroma promised. The body was a bit more on par. A smooth malty body with a light bitterness and a distinct hop character (saaz???).
