Pours amber/red with minimal head. Not a lot of aroma: a bit of malt, just a touch of roasted nuts. Lightly roasted malt and just a hint of hops on the palate. Refreshing and not wholly undrinkable. RagallachMC (631) - Cleveland, Ohio, USA - APR 10, 2007
Draft at brewpub. Aroma: Lightly toasted malt with a note of almonds. Some light herbal hops. Appearance: Orange-brown in color and clear. Light khaki head was small and foamy with decent retention. Fair lacing. Flavor: Lightly toasted grainy malt, toasted nuts, light herbal and earthy hops. Medium-light bitterness. Finishes clean. Palate: Medium bodied. Medium carbonation. Overall: Nothing special, but drinkable. Went well with my dinner.
