Bottle @ The Train Tasting, Part I. The pour’s gold with a small head. The nose is bright honeycomb. Spice. Notes of ginger, cumin. Some herb garden. The taste is honeyed nut cheerio cereal. Somewhat bready. More spiced herb on the finish. Medium body, fine carbonation. Overall, a decent effort. Actually pretty tasty. Black Country Beano. Outbound train tasting! Light haze on this gold beer, big white head. Light airy palate, semi dry. Light malt with mild German nuttyness - caraway. Touch of mellow orange citrus. Light dry finish. Decent, drinkable.

Erinnert mich an ein Helles der kuriosen Art: Zuerst leicht hopfig, dann zunehmend malzig-süßlich, meinetwegen auch Honig. Insgesamt ein Allerweltsbier!

Sort of standard German pils aroma: fresh noble hops. Perhaps a note of honey. Almost clear brown-amber with a ginger ale-like fizziness that created a lasting bubbly white cover. Very strong hops flavour accentuated by a not quite crisp maltiness. This beer is not very bitter, but it is fairly dry, and so does not have a lot of residual sweetness that may need offsetting bitterness. Medium body, moderate carbonation, clean finish. Very nice and only vague honey charasteristics.
