(22oz bomber thanks to bu11zeye) clear rich copper, fine tan bubbles. Nose of sweet/sour caramel, lightly tart, chewable vitamins, somewhat like a quad. Taste has some off flavors, weird infection, caramel, metallic. Mossy linger. hellbilly (3248) - scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA - AUG 6, 2012
$3 bomber from bevmo consumed 9/5/11.
clear. auburn color with a pale khaki head.
the nose is really full of cherry fruit and cherry skin...followed by dust, cola, CO2, oxidized graininess, light vanilla and freshly pulled carrot earthy sweetness.
the flavor has some vanilla, sherry, lactic and fruity tartness but nothing i could call ’sour’...also, it gets a little metallic as it warms...notes of bitter grain edges, tannic cherry skins on the finish and lingering black cherry aftertaste. it is quite malty with a fruity side note...more tart than sour and really, neither of each.
body has some oomph to it but finishes clean and crisp.
for $3 i really can’t complain..i guess it might be a good intro beer....weird but not absolutely terrible...yet it is all over the place and lacks dimension and nuance. 5/3/5/3/10 Landmonger (155) - USA - JUN 21, 2012
OK this is my worst day of beer tasting started with my worst Beligina followed by three drain pours..aroma is almost non existant, taste is overwhelmingly sour with mild bitterness, insipid carbonation and sour after taste hayduke (5571) - Eureka, California, USA - JUN 20, 2012
Pours red amber with a light beige head. Nose is very odd, with some sour but also apple. Medium body. Flavor is apple and again a really odd sour. This simply does not hang together in any good way. ngeunit1 (1555) - Waltham, Massachusetts, USA - JUN 14, 2012
A - Pours a fairly clear amber-orange color with a thin layer of frothy off-white head. The head fades down quickly leaving behind a little lace.
S - Aroma is a mix of sour green apple, a bit of dark fruit, funky yeast, sour cherry, some acidity, and a bit of booze.
T - Starts off with some sour green apple and cherry with some tartness and acidity. Through the middle, some more sour and lightly funky flavors come through with a bit of sweet malt. The finish is a mix of sour and tart green apple and cherry with some acidity, funk, and a bit of booze.
M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a tart and acidic finish.
D - Pretty drinkable. The sour and tartness is nice, but there seems to be a bit of off flavors mixed in a well throwing off the balance.

Sent from Hayduke and opened at an esbls tasting. Clear and whiskey looking. A malty nose. This is sour, bitter, and malty. It is not a classic sour. There is some lemon bitter sourness. I am not a sour lover and amnot a fan of this one. Barreras (1689) - Diamond Bar, California, USA - MAY 27, 2012
Pours an iced tea color with a red hue. Aroma is of cherry, mixed with a fruitty sweetness. Taste is mildly bitter, with a cherry drenched refreshingness. A clean refreshing taste, that dissipates as you swallow the beer. Overall a decent beer for the style, quite refreshing and easy drinking. wavers1 (916) - Notown, California, USA - MAY 1, 2012
wow, had to try one of the lowest rated sours in the world since its made in my area. pours decent enough looking. aroma is meh, has a few fruity sorta cranberry notes and such. the taste is like some sort of old flat spritzer water poured into a glass with some cranberry juice backwash. the body is liek water, almost thinner, except a little bit drying and then with a bad aftertaste that lingers and leaves a slight coating. a bit offensive overall. MrChopin (4304) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - APR 19, 2012
transparent amber, thin cream ring. Light cream, paper, oxidation, and huge diacetyl. Flavor is diacetyl, cardboard, light bile, slick oil body, bit of cherry sourness. Yuck. GT (10000) - San Diego, California, USA - APR 16, 2012
651mL thanks to beerandblues2. I saw this in California two months ago and scrolled past. Well here it is again. A flat, clear red pour. Nose is sweet grenadine syrup with toffee and diacetyl. Taste is mild diacetyl quickly overtaken by stomach acid- probably the rarest but most god awful brewing flaw that exists: acid and vomit character. I’m about to throw up just writing this review having to remember how gross it was. Easy 1/10 for taste and 1/5 for palate.
