16.9 oz bottle 7/8/13 (Binny’s Naperville)-33° in Shaker-Pours a hazy orangish amber with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, and malt. Taste of hops and malt. This medium bodied brew is well balanced and quite tasty. DrnkMcDermott (3104) - Downers Grove, Illinois, USA - JUN 28, 2013
Found at Kenwood Homer Glen with a $3.50 Sale tag. Okay, why not. Slight bit of skunk right under the cap, changing to a hoppy smell as foam peeks over the edge. Kicks up a lot of foam, even refrigerated. Smell is mostly citrusy with some pine, maybe a tropical fruit kick of Nelson Sauvin. Still plenty of foam in my IPA tulip. Looks cloudy and orangey under that big head, which settles down into some kind of fire extinguisher foam. Taste is back to strong malt and citrus, with a backbone of mucho hop bitterness. Kind of nice in a hophead sense, but way overly bitter. I feel like there’s no reward for finishing this. jmikolich (1477) - North Ridgeville, Ohio, USA - APR 22, 2013
12ish oz bottle, from Bytemesis, smells really nice and orangey with a touch of citrus.. taste is okay, slightly bitter with solid malt presences.. almost too much malt for my taste. Pawola22 (3262) - Woodridge, Illinois, USA - FEB 20, 2013
500ml bottle from Binny’s Lincoln Park. Pours a lightly hazed, golden orange colored body with a finger-width, creamy and frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice, soapy lacing. Aroma is orange and grapefruit citruses with a good amount of grass and florals. Nice caramel malt backing with a moderate sweetness and a touch of toast. Flavor is similar. Lots of grassy citruses with a bunch of florals giving off some oranges, grapefruits, and a bit of a tropical note. A medium sweet, lightly toasted caramel provides a nice balance before this finishes dry and bitter, but well balanced. Lots of orange citruses and some tropical fruit linger with a pleasant caramel in a lengthy aftertaste. Medium body and a soft, somewhat creamy, moderate carbonation. Overall, a really well done DIPA. Bitter and fruity, but rounded with a nice caramel balance. Good beer. crossovert (13078) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 11, 2013
Poured into my DFH IPA glass. Amber gold in color, big head. SMell is weak light hops, light malt. Taste is vegetal, medium bitterness, dusty malt, coin. Not great.

Bottle from BevMo. Hazy amber in color. Somewhat sweet and fruity nose with a little bit of hoppiness. Flavor is quite hoppy, with a certain mineral/earth sort of a flavor going on. Decently bitter with an almost tobacco flavor. Finish is quite bitter. Seems to have a strong grapefruit component. hayduke (5571) - Eureka, California, USA - NOV 13, 2012
Pours a copper color with a robust off-white head and a lot of lacing. Nose of lots of hops, with grapefruit and pine. Medium body and a sticky resin mouthfeel. The flavor is huge and comes right at you, and there is lots of bitterness the moves into a bitter dry finish. This beer pushes the envelope even for a DIPA. Despite being so powerful is still good drinking. thegreenrooster (4440) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - OCT 13, 2012
Pour is a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is plenty of pine hops with a sweet oily malt. Flavor is an ok hop profile with a lot of sweet chewy malts to back it up. Full sweet, sticky malts left after the swallow. No date on the bottle but deffinatly has some age on it. It’s ok but fresher is always better. Ratman197 (14958) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - SEP 5, 2012
On tap at Tied House poured a clear gold with a small lasting ivory head. Aromas of biscuit, cat piss, earthiness, grapefruit and pine. Palte was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, earthiness, grapefruit and pine with a crisp dry bitter lingering earthy finish. UnDecaf (106) - Mountain View, California, USA - AUG 26, 2012
Murky deep amber with a thick very white head. The nose is extremely hoppy but the first taste is more mellow with some sweetness to balance it. Long bitter finish.
