(500ml bottle thanks to ericandersnavy) clear orange/amber with fine white carbonation. Nose of candied citrus, oranges, very fragrant, agave, and smells like a West Coast IPA. Taste of orange, syrupy, rye, mild umami, crackery and a dry finish. Pine lingers on the palate. anders37 (26137) - Malmö, SWEDEN - SEP 11, 2011

hazy golden orange tinted brown with a big ’ol creamy white head.
savory aroma...earthy spice, a little skunk, herbs, mild pine, orange, iced tea and pale malt notes as well.
the flavor is a rather raw version of the aroma... it is bitter and harshly hopped without any balance. it is a bit sweet up front but anything left is wiped out by a dry herbaceous finish and ashy aftertaste.6/3/6/3/13

Half liter bottle pours gold with copper core and tan head. The aroma offers up resiny hoppiness from spiciness, citrus and pine to floral and lime. Bruisingly bitter aroma, wow. The taste delivers a large bitter dose of spicy hops, grapefruit juice, lime peel, some pine resin and a light smattering of earthiness. This is a fully bitter brew nearing chewy resininess. Pleasingly robust bitter experience. TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - AUG 15, 2011
Bottle as an extra from Baker. Thanks! Pours a well hazed glowing amber orange, dark and murky, some good fiery sunset glow on the edges. A decent sized frothy tannish head dies to a decent layer, ok lacing. Aromas are a vibrant lemon and orange citrus, dry florals, grass, and some touches of grapefruit. Oxidized malts, toffee and toast, with orange marmalade. Sweeter, but the hops are still doing it well. Initial is medium bodied offering a healthy dry floral and orange hopping, some lemons, grass, dried out up front pretty well. Into the middle picks up some toffee and pale malts, touches of toast, caramel. Some oxidized malts, touch of ABV related heat, with lingering dryness and hops, bigger orange and florals as their dominant appeal. Dry and lingering hops, much more vibrant and enjoyable than the other beer I tried from Hermitage. Pretty nice, perhaps a bit older, but still showing some life. Nice, average in the pack though overall due to some less complex hopping. Pinball (12060) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 21, 2011
