3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Found at Kenwood Homer Glen with a $3.50 Sale tag. Okay, why not. Slight bit of skunk right under the cap, changing to a hoppy smell as foam peeks over the edge. Kicks up a lot of foam, even refrigerated. Smell is mostly citrusy with some pine, maybe a tropical fruit kick of Nelson Sauvin. Still plenty of foam in my IPA tulip. Looks cloudy and orangey under that big head, which settles down into some kind of fire extinguisher foam. Taste is back to strong malt and citrus, with a backbone of mucho hop bitterness. Kind of nice in a hophead sense, but way overly bitter. I feel like there’s no reward for finishing this.
On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with a medium sized white head. Soft citrus on the nose, light fruit and a bit of malt and mango. Medium bodied, big icy hops, fleshy tropical fruit, mango and citrus. Slow mango, cool hops into the finish. Long and warm, toast and fruit. Big grapefruit on the finish, lingering quinine bitterness. tightslice (1397) - Redwood City, California, USA - OCT 10, 2016
Bottle from Delucchi’s Market in Redwood City, CA. Aroma is pine, some citrus. Taste is pine, hop bitterness. A pretty basic IPA. Mjp12 (1959) - York, North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - SEP 28, 2016
A mighty blast of resinous hops, in both the aroma and taste. Not as subtle or complex as some DIPA , but full of pine bitterness. Mr_Pink_152 (5400) - Lincoln, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - JUN 25, 2016
Tried in a bottle from Beers of Europe. Orange golden colour with a white head. Aroma pine, citrus, floral, and fruity big hop. Taste bitter, and oily soap. Thick oily body. madchemist83 (272) - USA - APR 24, 2016
Resin, pine, grapefruit peel, dank. Golden amber with white head. Very drinkable with resinous bitterness upfront and piney aftertaste mixed with alcohol. Ok.

A nice IPA. Pours a cloudy orange with a white head. Smells of hops, citrus, pine and blueberry. More blueberry in the taste, along with breadiness, a nice but not intense background of hops. Paired with bourbon buffalo burgers, brings out the hops. Had in the bottle. Braudog (6803) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - SEP 24, 2015
Bottle. Musky. Dirty copper tone with an average top. This has a distinctly spicy character, very meaty. Has a much more continental hop character than one might expect from a California IIPA. (#6037, 9/24/2015) JonMoore (2067) - Loughborough, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - SEP 2, 2015
Bottle - hazy gold with sparse white head. Hoppy, resinous, juicy aroma. Similar in the taste, orange, grapefruit, resin, tropical fruit. Medium body, oily-ish mouthfeel, moderate carbonation. Long bitter finish. Good stuff. Padron4KM (810) - Chandler, Arizona, USA - AUG 11, 2015
500 ml bottle. Hazy burnt orange, dense off white head, sticky lace.kaser (6366) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 14, 2015
Aroma is all hops, dank, floral, tropical.
Flavor is much like the aroma, all hops. Pine, floral, grapefruit. A little malt sweetness mid-palate tries to keep it balanced, but it’s mostly one sided. Body is a little thin.
Crazy hoppy beer. Orange clear pour from bottle at home. White head. Ripe tropical fruit flavor. Vanilla, orange, grapefruit, pine, and just a huge taste to it. Good.
