Essences notes of butterscotch. Nice redish golden color. Sweet tea flavor with hints of butter and orange. Nice hoppy after taste.

Pours a clear orange color with a white head. Ugh, terrible nose of celery, green apple, and caramel. Some mild orange peel and pine, maybe some toffee, too. The flavor is very vegetal, grassy, and unpleasant as well. Green apple, caramel, and toffee with light orange and pine hop notes. Moderate bitterness on the finish. 22oz bomber pours sort of hazy ruby red amber while supporting a tan head of foam. The aroma is resiny with hops where malt sweetened bitter floral hops are in the front and a bit of citrus hops in the back. The taste has resiny bitterness with bold pine sap and floral like qualities. It stays pretty resiny and bitter with a decent body right into the after taste. Lane, CA, 30/08/12. Murky copper-bronze with a slim, honeycombed white foam. Not much lace. Waft of orange Smartie, rose, peach flan aroma more Crystal malt than hop. Ditto taste. Lapses into generic, soggy peach flan, rose and London Pride territory; maybe peas with a sprig of mint. Not a sniff of hop to be found.
A not so fresh Cali IPA rate, about 5-6 months old now so not much point in rating it. Copper pour with thin white head. Nose is caramel chews, light pine. Mouth more caramel, not unpleasant but not what I look for in an IPA. Pretty nice and singular, hops are quite faded but it’s drinkable. Some pinecone spreads on the finish. If any of my ratings should ever be deleted, it’s this one.

Bomber poured clear oirange amber with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of carmel, earthiness, light pine and a hint of citrus. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, earthiness, light spice and a hint of pine with a crisp dry moderatly bitter earthy finish. AmEricanbrew (6878) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - AUG 18, 2012
Clear amber color with ivory head. Dry hay, grass, tropical fruit aromas with mild ganja bud. medium body. Dry dusty spicy hop flavors with a light fruity caramel sweetness--not bad bb (9268) - Alamo, California, USA - JUL 2, 2012
Bottle. Amber beer with a cream head. Earth and pine aroma. Pine and grapefruit flavor with light caramel. Medium bodied. Decent bitterness. Pine and grapefruit lingers with light earth and light caramel. marcus (10227) - Sacramento, California, USA - JUN 10, 2012
Bottle from BevMo, Arden. Pours amber with a rich beige head and a fruity aroma. There is a hearty caramel malt flavor that starts sweet and finishes bitter. A pretty good IPA. bhensonb (15208) - Woodland, California, USA - MAY 27, 2012
Bomber from the Folsom BevMo. Pours light copper with a foamy/frothy/creamy near white head. Lots of floral/fruity hop over a sweet caramel backbone for aroma. LIfts the brain away! Med body or more. Flavor is floral/fruity with resin hints - but there’s something more. A herb type of thing. This is gloriously hoppy, tho not in a harsh NW citrus/resin way. Finishes nearly sweet, cause the hop isn’t harsh. Damn tasty ale.
