3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hazy orange color with a tall very creamy, light tan/green head. Aroma is very strong orange citrus and a lot pine hops presence. Flavor is pretty watery with a strong bitterness but more grassy with a touch of citrus. Great lacing on the glass, very watery feeling with a light dry and bitter kick. Overall, it’s the definition of a "meh" beer. I was expecting a great citrus nose/flavor combo but there wasn’t enough malt backbone to hold the flavor. Body ruined the brew and made it a definite disappointment.
On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear amber with a thin white head. Big bright citrus, soft malt. Medium bodied, a touch of green onion, mango, citrus. Slow bitterness on the finish, lingering mangonion notes. Tasty, but a touch too green for me.

Big bottle from Leicester BrewDog fishing for my ceremonial 8K. Muddy orange with a sinking white cap. Fine stinky Citra aroma in the bottled Oakham ballpark with an abundance of Fruit Salad chew, overripe pineapple and melon, rose, strawberry, orange liqueur. Tangy honeyed orange and menthol hop thick and slightly stewed with sweetness. Floral peach and orange liqueur warmth. In a sense it’s bottom-of-barrel cask English with a slug of heartburn yeast. Bonus point. Way better than my previous two experiences of Hermitage single hop beers, but still average.

Tasting sampler at Beer Zen party, Osaka. Definitely the most complex and potent of the four sampled, a big floral aroma led by strong peach, very dusty and fresh. The flavour produces tropical notes, lychee, showcases the hop well. It’s backed by an earthy malt and strong bitterness, lively on the palate. TattooJack (518) - Illinois, USA - JUL 28, 2016
Poured from the bomber its a cloudy dark orange. Taste is citrus, juicy, spicy, and dry at the end. I walked the gauntlet of citras that have come out lately and this one is really good, just at the 7% mark I look for. ben4321 (6547) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - MAY 16, 2016
Draft. Solid citrus aroma hop and flavor. Decently fruity. Nice mid-bitter hop presence. Medium carbonation and body.

Bottle, Brewdog Leicester. Golden brown with an off white foam. Multigrain and toffee with oranges and tropical fruit, particularly mango. Brown sugar with herbal and grassy notes. Sweet and jammy apricot with marmalade. Earthy with peppery alcohol. Good.

thought this’d be my favorite. Maybe it was older a Citra hops are usually bold, but while this was very citrus forward it was more understated and mellow. Idiosynkrasie (7617) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - FEB 1, 2016
650ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, dark amber colour with average to huge, thick, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Citrusy hoppy aroma notes of lemon tea, caramel malty basis. Taste is dry, grassy hoppy, minimally chalky and mineral, notes of lemon tea, lemon zest, malty basis without residual sweetness. Bottle from Beer Gonzo, Coventry, aromas of mango, lime, lemon, caramel. Taste is strong citrus, mango, slight resin, strong herbal bitterness in the finish. Slightly spicy. Tasty. deyholla (11759) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - DEC 11, 2015
Bottle shared by Ben, thanks! Pours a clear golden orange with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of citrus with a decent amount of sweet grains and a touch of caramel. Flavor is citrus forward with a sweet grains backbone and some additional sweetness from caramel.
