Light haze on this amber beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Light malts, semi sweet with a mild caramel streak. Good orange start to the hops, little hop spice. Some peel and marmalade. Pine and a whisper of lemon. Smooth semi dry finish. A balanced and flavoursome IPA but the Crystal malts won’t be to everyones taste.
660ml bottle from Good Spirits Co. Hazy orange brown, not much head. Mango pineapple hop aroma. Papaya pineapple peach flavour. Sharp with bitter citrus hop aftertaste. Big tasting IPA. Christpuncher (3135) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 16, 2015
A very citrus cy and hoppy ups. Slight malt backbone. Perfectly balanced and crushable. Pours cope with a reddish tan head. Had a bomber pour at home

On tap @ Hermitage. Clear golden pour with a finger of white foam. Nose is really disappointing. All toast, bread, and buttery caramel. Grassy and husky. Some straw, a bit of orange, and pine. Flavor is dominated by the malt and sweetness. Just a ton of bread and toast. Fair amount of creamy caramel and brown sugar. A little bit of orange peel. Waste of Citra.

Tap @ West End Taproom - Santa Cruz: clear dark gold with an off white head. Flowery and citrusy aroma with same notes in the flavor. Bitter aftertaste. Not bad. deekyn (1459) - San Francisco, California, USA - MAY 25, 2014
A- pours a rich amber with a thin white head that dissipates quickly and clings to the glass. No retention and great lacing. S- hops! Lemon, pine resin, caramel malts, floral, barley, light clover honey. Some grass and soap. Grapefruit is mild. M- medium tacky body with a medium resin palate. Decent carbonation with a light burn. T- pine, malts, and some citrus at first. Some vegetal quality with more citrus on the middle. Ending has legs with soap and grass that gives way to malty aftertaste. Fairly linear and expected but great after a hot day at the beach in Santa Cruz. Beergeek23322 (2602) - Chester, Virginia, USA - JAN 10, 2014
1/10/2014. 22 oz., bottle. Amber color with a white head. Happy to get out of the bottle. Caramel and malty aromas with fruit and especially citrus. Flavors are less bitter than expected, but there are hops on the finish. rxeight (3084) - Illinois, USA - JAN 4, 2014
