Light haze on this amber beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Light malts, semi sweet with a mild caramel streak. Good orange start to the hops, little hop spice. Some peel and marmalade. Pine and a whisper of lemon. Smooth semi dry finish. A balanced and flavoursome IPA but the Crystal malts won’t be to everyones taste.

On tap @ Hermitage. Clear golden pour with a finger of white foam. Nose is really disappointing. All toast, bread, and buttery caramel. Grassy and husky. Some straw, a bit of orange, and pine. Flavor is dominated by the malt and sweetness. Just a ton of bread and toast. Fair amount of creamy caramel and brown sugar. A little bit of orange peel. Waste of Citra. bhensonb (15190) - Woodland, California, USA - APR 12, 2011
POurs clear dark copper with a creamy/bubbly 3 finger beige head. Aroma is sort of cat pee/evergreen. Med+ body. Nice malt backbone wholly submerged by rough grapefruit rind. Nice bitter, hoppy drink. Mellow in a harsh way. Ratman197 (14826) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - APR 16, 2012
Bomber poured a clear orange amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of carmel, earthiness, citrus and light pine. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of carmel, earthiness, light grapefruit and a hint of pine with a crisp dry lingering bitter finish.

Amber pour. Caramel malt and candied citrus in the nose, doesn’t smell fresh yet I haven’t seen it before on the shelves in IL. Flavor is again caramel candy, low bitterness, floral hops. Seems to lack most citra character. My guess is it is both a bit old and their hop addition times and quantities just sucked. hopdog (12510) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 29, 2011
22oz bottle...thanks Tim! Poured an amber color with an averaged sized head. Aromas of citrus, some earthiness, and some rinds. Tastes of citrus with some light caramel. slowrunner77 (12040) - Reno, Nevada, USA - FEB 23, 2016
thought this’d be my favorite. Maybe it was older a Citra hops are usually bold, but while this was very citrus forward it was more understated and mellow. j12601 (11706) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - MAY 29, 2017
On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear amber with a thin white head. Big bright citrus, soft malt. Medium bodied, a touch of green onion, mango, citrus. Slow bitterness on the finish, lingering mangonion notes. Tasty, but a touch too green for me.
