Bottle at Herrmann Keller in Ampferbach. Phenolic banana, clove, white pepper aroma, very juicy and pulpy orange / lemon expression. Off-dry, quenching acid, zesty, tart and estery throughout. Sugar cookie malt and tropical fruit phenols. Some filminess / oiliness late. Tangy, flavorful, expressive.

Bottle at the Herrmann keller. Head is fully lasting. Body is cloudy medium yellow. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (cookie, toasted grain), lightly yeasty (cobwebs), with notes of clove, banana, lemon, pepper. Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly to moderately acidic. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation. A wonderful rendition, surprising since their kellerbier was quite dirty. It’s rare that I can get a lot of enjoyment from this style, but this one really had it all...beautiful appearance, lovely aroma and flavor balance and texture, and seemingly very clean. Very enjoyable.

Bottled (thanks fonefan!). Hazy orange colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is wheat, banana, some yeasty, mild spicy and citrusy notes. Flavour is quite similar in a nice balance. Wellbalanced, and also gets some slight toffeeish notes in the flavour.

Bottle at the brewpub’s Keller. Distinct banana aroma, quite rough. Cloudy yellow/orange colour. OK stable white head. The flavour also has a distinct banana note, better than the aroma. A little sweet, hint of bubble gum. Good for the style.

It’s warm yellow-golden with a huge, creamy and white head. The aroma is fruity with notes of banana and peach and a little yeast. The flavour is sweet with notes of banana and peach, light yeast and wheat. It’s mild and soft with a slightly spicy finish, and initially the banana flavour is very weak, but it becomes stronger and stronger as the beer becomes warmer.

@ brewery. think it was bottled. Bright yellow, scant lacing. Bland boring aroma has orange, and noting some phenols. Palate is spritzy. Alright, has a nice acidity in the finish.
