50cl bottle. A clear orange brown beer with a mid-sized most good lasting beige head. Aroma of dark malt, caramel, nutty malt. Taste of dark malt, caramelish malt, nuts, medium sweetness, okay!

Tap at the Ingolstadter Tap. Dark gradient red-brown with a rocky beige head - beautiful! Toffee, caramel, nuts, even a touch of sour coffee in the mouth. Crisp medium-full body.

Bottle (@Altstadtstüberl, Eichstätt)Clear, reddish-amber coloured, small, but very persistent brownish head; solid aroma of a slightly diluted Doppelbock: sweet dark malt with traces of dried fruits and a light chocolatey touch;moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; drier, slightly lingering, chocolatey bitter-sweet finish. Unexpected fine brew from a very mediocre brewery...........
