A Mes rate: bottle at the ever brilliant Chris O’s Pre GBBF Extravaganza.deyholla (12589) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - NOV 25, 2009
Golden brown with a reasonable off white head. Sweet and yeasty but some good hoppy notes really sort it out. Nice and grassy with a faint hint of citrus. Assertively bitter in the finish. Very pleasant.
Bottle. Poured a clear gold with a tan head. Aroma was hoppy, both citrus and floral with an undertone of oats. Flavor was more hoppy, especially citrus, leading to a very bitter finish. gunnfryd (15502) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - NOV 15, 2009

Bottle, at Chris O’s Pre-GBBF tasting, 1st Aug 09. My 1500th rate! Very dry IPA, with a hop character that builds and builds as you work your way through a glass. Bitter finish. harrisoni (19548) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - OCT 6, 2009
Bottle at Chriso’s pre GBBF tasting 09. Very decent American hops on this I thought. Yeast doesn’t quite work, but decent enough IPA

Bottle, from trade with Papsoe. An almost clear, golden beer topped by a finger-thick, creamy, beige head. The aroma has resiny and citrusy hops on a sweetish malty base. Bitter, citrusy and resiny flavor with a good malty sweetness behind, finishing with a good bitterness. Almost astringently bitter, full-bodied. And of course a bitter finish. A nice IPA. 090724 cgarvieuk (26374) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 31, 2009
