Big head. Fruity, oddly nutty, soapy, almonds and bitterness. Too sweet for me in the long run. Belgian everyday beer with bitterness, is maybe a way to describe it.
Bottled. Hazy deep golden, small head. Melon aroma. Sweet and minerally, dense and fruity. Full bodied and solidly with some butter and almond character. Herslev’s lighter beers have more personality. This is good, but sort of anonymous and Van Steenberge-like. bager (2120) - Copenhagen N, DENMARK - MAR 19, 2006
Bottle. Amber golden with light white head. Nice and hoppy - also a bit spicy - very fresh with hints of citrus. Skinnyviking (9717) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 6, 2006
Bottle. Off white creamy head. Amber unclear body. Aroma of strawberries. Despite the sweet aroma the flavor is actually quite hoppy but still sweet enough to hide the expected alcohol taste.

(Bottle 50 cl) Deep, dark amber colour with an impressive but collapsing head. Very full-bodied - but far from alcoholic -Easter beer with a distinct hopping. A bit raw and unpolished character, lacks a bit refinement. 110405 Pernille (518) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 9, 2005
Talk about a thick, creamy head! This one’s got it. And what a great, flowery flavor with perfect bitterness. Great job. Dalle (1145) - Skørping, DENMARK - APR 23, 2005
UPDATED: APR 30, 2006 Bottle. Cloudy golden-amber with large off-white head. Sweet and fruity aroma. Flavor is hoppy, dusty, unclean, bitter finish. Has got a lot going for it but needs a few last touches..... Had it the other day and enjoed it very much (is it the beer or my tastebuds that changed). LoveCaissa (873) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 18, 2005
UPDATED: APR 10, 2006 Cloudy golden/orange colour. Very refreshing and hoppy aroma - some fruity sweetness as well. Initial flavour is malty and finish is very hoppy and bitter. High carbonation. Definitely one of Herslevs best beers (so far). Rerate "spring 2006": "Forårsfryd" (Spring delight) would be a better name - maybe this gets better every year? Upgraded from 3.7. UPDATED: JUN 6, 2009 Hazy orange with a big white and medium lasting head. Floral aroma with some strawberry and grass. Sweet but fresh flavour with plenty of hops, resulting in a long dry aftertaste. Big, creamy mouthfeel.
