COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with four grains: wheat, barley, rye and oats. Nice dark color and good creamy head. Full and soft with suitable sweetness. Impressions of the dark malts that give a touch of chocolate and coffee. Nice hoppy finish. Absolutely enjoyable at 10-12 degrees Celsius by itself, but can also be recommended for desserts - then at 6-8 degrees.

500ml bottle (bryg 11). Brown-yellow body under a rustic foamy head. Burnt dark malty smell. Lots of roastiness in taste related to grains, dark chocolate and coffee - and a brush of liquorice. Nice bitter ending (14.01.2007).

50 cL bottle. Pours black with short lasting head. Aroma is roasted malts, sweetness and alcohol I sense some Cascade aroma hops. Taste is first the roasted malts, followed by sweetness and fruity hops which turns into a light bitterness. Hard to make out any of the 4 grains. Good porter, well balanced.

Bottled. Strong aroma of sweet coffee. Black color, light brown head, good lace. Light sweet, very malty, chocolat, coffee, roasted bitterness, bit fruity and quite full. Nice.

[Tasted with svoger.] Received too cold, but after some time it was just wonderful. Creamy oatnotes and very fullbodied. Usually notes of coffee, smooth burned malt and more complexe flavornotes. Maybe in top 10 for best new beer in 2006!

Bottled at Horsens Beerfestival. Black beer with a small tan head. Chocolate, coffee, some sour notes, fruit, dried fruits and roastyness in the aroma. The flavor is chocolate, coffee, bitterness and hints of sourness. Almost full-bodied. A nice beer, but nothing too special about it. (061028)

Browny/black with little head. Little coffee notes. Roasted malts & chocolate. Filling body (not thick though). Lively carbonation for a stout. Plesant & enjoyable
