500 ml bottle @ ISKTR V. Pours a dark brown, almost black colour with a small head. Aroma of rich roastiness, saltiness, red wine and some vanilla. Flavour of strong rich roastiness, vanilla, white chocolate, prunes, a bit of herbal notes and red berries. A bit of syrupy sweetness. Full bodied. Beautiful balance and rather complex too. Still in a great shape.

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, roasted malt, wood, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, caramel, and wood, leading to a dry roasted finish. Thanks pinball.

Sample from (dusty) bottle, CBF 2012. Deep amber beer with no head. Aroma with roasted malts, wood and caramel, a hint of alcohol. Sweet taste with caramel and wood - oak? Full body with a thick texture - hard to get out of the glass. Long lasting dry, slightly roasted, finish. Lovely BW.

olio (10167) - Tampere, FINLAND - SEP 25, 2015
50 cl bottle @ ISKTR V. Brew No. #207.
Pours dark mahogany color with a small off-white head. Very sweet fruity and caramel-y aroma, faint resin, lots of sugar, some bourbon-y vanilla also. Dark malts, sweet sugary and caramel-y flavor, some red wine notes, toffee, syrup and wood. Still quite sweet, pleasant though, alcohol well hidden, vinous.

Flaske, hjemme. Klar borteseier!

suurjuust (3504) - ESTONIA - DEC 11, 2015
Ruby-tinged brown beer, almost no head. Nose is a caramel-boozy-oaky-vanilla kick in the nuts. Flavor is a bit thin because of the aging, but it’s fruity, woody, vanilla, caramel. Finishes with wood, vanilla, dried fruit, hints of booze. Lingering wood plus fruit. Nice.
