3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Large thick foamy beige head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Mahogany cloudy color. Aroma of pineapple, fresh grassy, citrus and some oily notes as well. Over the palate came light roasted malt that mix well with the hoppy and light fruity notes. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and light dry texture. Light to moderated sweet and bitter flavor that is very well balanced together. Light dry and hoppy finish that somewhat lingers on. Nice and very drinkable beer.

UPDATED: OCT 28, 2017 Tap at Papirøen. Reddish-brown color with tan head. Dark malts but strong hops. Very flowery, maybe a little much. Low carbonation. dreamer (213) - PORTUGAL - SEP 19, 2017
Cloudy dark reddish-brown color, frothy good beige lacing. Lively carbonation, medium body. Texture is oily. Aroma heavy hoppy, citrus, grass, pine, roasted malt and caramel. Taste is bitter, with light to medium sweetness. Aftertaste starts astringent and ends with a long lasting sweetness. 77ships (11026) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - AUG 28, 2017
Thank you for sharing Hamirubi! 500 ml. bottle sampled @ RBBSG17. Dark brown amber, little tanned head. Nice bitter herbal head, heavy roast. Too heavily roasted, bitter bark, bitter herbs, too harsh but not bad. Body is dry bitter roast & bark. Far to unbalanced but not bad at all. Fun solid enough brew. adamnowek (3285) - Brussels, BELGIUM - AUG 26, 2017
Shared at RBBSG 2017. Slightly opaque. Toffee brown. Very little head. Aroma is sweat and grapefruit. Taste is much of the same with some malt and toffee at the end.

0.5 bottle. Black. Bit wooly sheepfarmy nose, some chocolate, grainy malts. Med full bodied, quite smooth, slight woody dry chocolate, bitters, some herbalness in finish. Pretty mediocre, possibly slight spoiled. FatPhil (17075) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAR 22, 2017

Dull aroma, some stodgy dirty malts. Dark, small beige head. Sweeter, woodier taste. Fullish sweetish palate, with a nice woody leafy dryness. Finish has a lovely roasty coffeeey aspect, and real full dry and drying hops. Shame about the aroma, I do quite ike this. So so so so so not a Black IPA, there’s no "IPA" aspect to this at all.
UPDATED: MAR 23, 2017 500ml bottle (thanks Triinu). Clear chestnut brown color. Medium size, beige head, stays. Figs, nutty, sweet, fruity in aroma. Woody, cocoa powder, bit of alcohol, citrusy grapefruit peel in taste. Cocoa powder and citrusy hops in aftertaste. Soft carbonation. Tastes better than smells. Dry mouthfeel. Drinkable brew.
