Indbrygningspct: 15,5° plato.

Bottle. Large thick foamy beige head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Mahogany cloudy color. Aroma of pineapple, fresh grassy, citrus and some oily notes as well. Over the palate came light roasted malt that mix well with the hoppy and light fruity notes. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and light dry texture. Light to moderated sweet and bitter flavor that is very well balanced together. Light dry and hoppy finish that somewhat lingers on. Nice and very drinkable beer.

Sehr viel Röst und Kaffeearomatik gepaart mit dezenten Fruityhops. Der Trunk vollmundig und doch traubenschlank, dazu viel alkoholischer Getreideflair. Nicht schlecht, aber sehr BIPA untypisch. Britisch gedacht? 0,4/55 DKK von Hahn im SKÄNK Roskilde.

UPDATED: JUN 15, 2016 Bottle. 6.2%. Best before 20.07.16. Pours a dull, cloudy/milky dark brown, with a tan head. Decent lacing. Sweetish, hoppy and malty aroma. A bit roasted. Light fruity/berry note as it warms as well as a light chocolate note. Somewhat mild flavour; hoppy and malty as well, with a hint of plastic. Roasted and light chocolate notes as it warms. Mildly bitter hop finish. Note of alcohol. Lingering light coffee note and a hint of liquorice, followed by a light green apple note Overall okay, but a bit boring; it’s going through the motions, but only just that, and doesn’t really set itself apart. 12.06.16.

Bottle 50 cl. Black with a beige head. Aroma has hints of malt, caramel and some aroma hops. Taste of chocolate and malt which makes it rather sweet followed with subtle hops at the end. It is far from bitter, though. Medium length (chocolate)

A coffee and dark malt dominated ale. Not very typical BIPA
Dark color with a fine beige head. Some lacing. Ok aroma intensity. Mostly coffee, chocolate and some hoppy notes. Medium + body and a bit soft carbonation. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Coffee, chocolate, licorice, mild hoppy and some fruity notes.
[Bottle from Vinmonopolet Web order in Norway]

Dark is the keyword to this IPA. Chocolate nose and taste with a rich happy note from citrus and freshness. Quite unexpected considering the colour. This a really great "alternative" IPA with a touch of stout.

ON bottle from Vinmonopolet Norway, on order (BU). Black color, ok offwhite foam. Medium aroma intensity; malty, leather- very light hops. Medium body & complexity. OK bitterness, balances well. Enjoyable, but too subtle
