CBF07 sample from tap. Pours hazy and deep orange. Aroma is vague malty. Flavour is a good and classic strong mai bock with a strong bitterness long into the finish. Overall dry.
Draft. A deep red beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet malty and dominated by notes of berries. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of berries and caramel, but also light dusty hoppy notes, leading to a bitter end. It has a nice powerful body. Very German in its expression. joergen (27970) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 21, 2007

Bottled. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is fruity, sweet malty and has some slight hints of yeast in it. Flavour is harsh grass with some toffee along with mild fruityness. Not too much bock in this one...

(On tap) Clear, dark, amber golden with an off-white head. Lightly caramelish nose. Medium body with light notes of caramel and a lightly hoppy finish. Decent but not overly exciting. 110507 omhper (24963) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - MAY 14, 2007
Draught at Københavnske Øldage. Clear amber, brief head. Light brainy malt aroma. Fairly sweet with clean mouthfeel,l low hop rate and medium body. Some caramelly crystal malt flavour Finishes with low bitterness. A simple beer, certainly nowhere near a Maibock in style with it’s lack of malt depth. It has however some other interesting flavours, so it is not bad at all - more mislabelled. Rasmus40 (20303) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - APR 25, 2012

Bottle at Chris_o pre GBBF Shindig 08. This was my last beer of the day. And to be honest, many of the Danish beers we had today ended up in this category. Hazy russet, thin beige head. It’s an ok sweetish slightly malty beer with some hop. saxo (18208) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - JUL 26, 2010
Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are hops, caramel, malt and hops. Nice and bitter finish.
