On tap at the grunnerløkka brygghus. Pours golden with a white foamy head. Nose is strong filled with some herbaceous notes, lemon rind, and even some buttery malty toastyness. Taste is similar with a great deal of tastey bitter intensitey. Fairly dry with a nice long hoppy finish. Really swell stuff. mjs (7735) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUL 23, 2010

Hazy golden colour with small white head.
Fruits, yeast, caramel and mild hops in aroma.
Fruits, dry hops and yeast in flavour. Dry hoppy aftertaste.
Not bad at all.
Pours a quite hazy golden amber color with a thickish, frothy white head that diminished fairly quickly leaving traces of lace. Aroma of toasty malts, chamomile tea bags (used), a bit o’ lemon and grass and an apple banana smoothie from five paces. Flavor is predictable yet quite pleasant - toasty and grainy malts, nice floral and grassy notes, hints of clover honey on day-old baking powder biscuits. It’s a medium bodied ale with a gentle carbonated bite that rolls around the mouth and tongue easily and smoothly, like a languid lover lolling under the sheets nibbling teasingly on various appendages. Not a great beer overall, but I have to say I enjoyed the images that it inspired in my descriptions. Maybe it’s just being in Copenhagen... KM (418) - Tromsø, NORWAY - NOV 23, 2009
Tap. Pale brown body. Almost no head. Relatively fresh hoppy aroma. A little hoppy flavour. Light bitter finish. (Lord Nelson, København, 10.07.09) Christian (13865) - Odense, DENMARK - JUL 2, 2009
Golden with a small white head. Aroma of somewhat grainy malt. Sweet malty and caramel flavour with a weak fruity note, and chewy cereal (oats?) Probably lacks some yeast esters to be a truly impressive English ale. chrisv10 (18585) - DENMARK - MAY 20, 2009
UPDATED: JUN 10, 2011 Bottle. Clear golden with medium off-white head. Flavour is malt, caramel, bitter, fruit, dry and hops.
