Fresh and wellbalanced flavour from barley and oakmalts and a fine aromatic touch of Amarillo Hops. Rich flavour with a good bitter finish. Drink solo as well as accompanied by food. The beer is unfiltered and unpasteurised.

Looks like Weissbier. Breathe in while tasting, and it turns quite bitter. Nice for a hot summer day. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

0.5 L bottle from Vinmonopolet. An almost clear straw- golden beer with a brief white top. A modest smell of fruity hops, and some dryish and bready barley grain on the nose. Semi-dry grainy malt flavor. A note of lemonade, and a noticable grassy/herbal bitterness. Light to medium full. Dry, lemony, light bitter endnotes. A decent and quencing lager.

0.5l bottle. Pours a light cloudy golden yellow body with a small white head. Aroma is light grainy and malty with notes of some nice hops and perhaps a twist of grapefruit. Medium-bodied, oily texture and average carbonation. Tastes light hopy and mildly grainy leaving a lasting light pleasant sour hopy-bitter finish and aftertaste. Quite drinkable and a good thirst quencher. Nice pilsner that I could probably drink lots of..

20.05.2011. 0,5l Bottle. Vinmonopolet Haugesund. Yellow colour with white head. Hazy with some sediments. Very nice bitter pilsner with aroma of ligth pale malts and hops. Very sharp and crisp beer with lots of hoppy flavours and strong bitterness. Good bitter aftertaste that lasts and leaves a dry bitter finish.

500 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet. Brew #421. ABV is 5.5%. Some sediment in the bottle. Extremely pale yellow colour, slightly hazy, huge white head. Sweetish aroma of malt sugar and grassy hops. Despite some malty sweetness in the flavour, there are enough hops to make the beer feel fairly crisp. Very bitter finish and aftertaste.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy pale yellow body with a medium, creamy white head which seems to have a tight schedule. Nose is grains and fresh, pale malts and...well, not much else. Taste is much richer, however, with crisp, grassy hops and a smooth, light balance of sweet pale malts which never go into the Realms of Wet Cardboard or the other pitfalls of lager brewing. This beer remains fresh, crisp, light and drinkable - just as a lager should - while offering a lot of smoothness and flavor at the same time. Medium body with just the right balance between fullness and drinkability for this kind of beer, although Id perhaps enjoy it even more with a bit "more of everything". If this was available at Norwegian grocery stores, it would certainly be a contender to my pilsener of choice in that segment, the Pilsner Urquell.
