Aroma - caramel , Belgian yeast, alcohol, fig, and spice. Appearance - the body is a hazy goldenrod yellow, with great nucleation. The head is off-white and well over 2+" foamy, and takes a long time to settle. Taste - slight caramel, touch of pungent hops, coriander, Belgian yeast, touch of fig, and some oak. Palate - medium body, slight oil, average carbonation, and a slight bitter and slight booze finish.

Has a nice hazy blond colour. Aroma is quite strong with bready yeast. Flavour is bitter and tangy. Just a hint of citrus peel in the finish next to a hop bitter aftertaste.

GSAP (742) - NETHERLANDS - DEC 25, 2015
Rottende bloemen als aroma, met wat hooi en snuifje citrus. Smaak is wat minder fris dan verwacht, ook iets licht rottends, met wat bitterzoet. Beetje smooth maar algeheel wat gemiddeld.

Tap at Beer Circus. Sweet, bitter, some lemon, meh. Nest just doesn’t do it for me, all their beers are mediocre at most.

When I first opened the glass bottle it was rather stinky. Like sulfur. But after I let it breathe a bit and poured it into a glass the aroma actually blossomed and was quite nice. Very fruity, much like a breakfast cereal. Had it stayed the way it originally smelled I’d of rated the aroma only a 1. In the end, it gets a 9. What a transition!!!!!! Cloudy orange/yellow pour with a fluffy white head. Head lasts a bit, ample lacing on the glass. This in no way tastes like it smells. Dry, bitter, and flat. Finish is quick and slightly bitter. This is a very complex and highly unusual beer! One of the most unique I’ve ever had. I can’t guarantee you’ll like it, but I implore you to at least try it!

Notes of citrus aroma mixed with sweets. Head dissolves quickly. Citrus flavour, rather bland.

1/27/2011 1:13:38 AM Bottle from Bierparadijs. Creamy golden body with top head. Wheat and citrus nose. Taste of fruits, citrus, wheat and lots of hops. Quite like this one.

Hazy golden color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of yeast, floral hops, & fruit; Flavor of malt, yeast, citrus hops, fruit, and some spice. Nicely balanced; Decent.

2.3
malrubius (2857) - Springfield, Vermont, USA - SEP 11, 2015
Bottle from Julios Hazy copper with big brown floating chunks of dead yeast lasting head. Cardbaord and bandaind and caramel and spice aroma. Toasted caramel peachy fruit with almost astringent herbal bitterness that lingers. Medium body fairly soft. Old or something, not good.
