Has a sweet and dark aroma with hints of fruit, pours a very dark brown color with a foam that doesn’t last very long. Has a taste with hings of caramel and coffee beans, an ok beer. vipinvelp (4539) - Velp, NETHERLANDS - APR 12, 2012
Very dark brown color with lasting colored foam head. Sweet fruity taste and good alcohol content. Nice lasting sweet palete, not too sweet like some other bocks. GMarques (28) - - MAR 3, 2012

UPDATED: JUN 16, 2017 I got a couple of those in a supermarket since they didn’t have anything better. Your dutch bottle of 300 ml, poured into a snifter. Smells a bit sour as I open the bottle.
Once poured, it gave me a dark ruby coloured beer, with one finger of beige head, with average retention. Light lacing around the glass at first, then nothing. Some traces of foam insist during the whole drinking process.
On the nose alcohol, light caramel and if you inhale deep enough, a smell of burned wood. Although subtle, it makes a difference. Oh, also some dark fruits.
Taste is more sweet than bitter. Bitterness is more obvious on the back of the tongue though and for a little while lingers around the mouth. Mostly flavours of roasted malt and caramel.
Nice thick body. High carbonation.
Well, nothing too impressive, but with the dryness on the palate, the alcohol abscent from the taste and only present as a warming feeling, this beer has a high drinkability.

Pours dark brown, almost black with a small head that disappears quickly. Nose is heavy brown sugar, some caramel and some sour fruit. This is one is way to sweet, absolutely no balance whatsoever. Hard to drink in fact. Mouthfeel is crisp and fizzy, flavor lingers for a long time but again, the extreme sweetness made this beer hard to drink and I only could finish half before pouring it out.

Head disappears relatively quickly, lacing remianing. Tastes malty, with some tannic bitterness and dark fruit tang. Not too sweet, and mildy bitter overall. Well balanced. Little to no hop flavor. bierbeek (97) - Beek, NETHERLANDS - DEC 30, 2011
33cl bottle. Auburn colour with rocky white head Sweet aroma containing malts and caramel. Taste is bitter, burned sweet malts, some iron. Finish is sweetbitter, dry and short.
One of the better bock-beers. Not to sweet. MADpalace (219) - Budel, NETHERLANDS - DEC 30, 2011
UPDATED: SEP 30, 2014 Dark brown, almost black, but with a slightly red shine and creamy beige collar. Light sweet smell of nuts with some hop in the background. Sweet nutty taste, with acid in the back. Has more beer flavor compared to an average bock. With some dirty smoke after taste and with a sticky mouth. GSAP (757) - NETHERLANDS - NOV 29, 2011
