Full flavor. Nice balance between sweet and bitter. But most of all: very drinkable, without being special.

UPDATED: OCT 4, 2015 Not a lot of carbonation. Smells neutral. However, drinks very nice, no bad touches and sweetness and alcohol, but not complex or deep. Edit: rerated 3-10-2015 (Shared a bottle with Patrick and Lennart 3-10 after the beergeeks @ Struise day.)

Bottle from grocery store in maastrict, pours a chestnut colour, light head that didn’t last. A sweet caramel taste that is sweet and a little earthy. Aroma of brown sugar and raisins.

Dark red colour. Aroma of caramel and malts. Sweet caramel taste but also quite bitter too. Not particularly flavoursome. Leaves an unpleasant bitter aftertaste.

Very sweet easy drinking. Not bad enjoyable although not a purist beer Looks good. On the sweet side though

Aroma: Huge yeast nose with a touch of banana and biscuit. A hint of herbal hops in the background. Develops a slight soapy character. Appearance: Deep ruby with clear edges and a quickly-dissipating, small head. Taste: Clean with a developing, slight dark malt flavour. Herbal hop end twinned with a dank finish. Palate: Thin, medium carbonated. Overall: Tastes like a bland lager with a touch of bland dark malt character. Not overly exciting.

Pours a dark brown colour, taste is yeasty, malty and Belgian like, I liked this beer very much

Frothmeister (790) - Ontario, CANADA - OCT 22, 2013
30cl bottle. Pours a clear chestnut brown with a caramel coloured head, and very little visible carbonation. Aromas of dried fruit, a rusty metallic note, brown sugar, and a light earthy note. The taste is similar. Sweet, dried fruits, molasses, light alcohol, a mild Belgian note, and brown sugar. It’s a little too one sided with the sweetness. Meh.

Lekkerste bockbier wat ik tot nu toe dit jaar heb geprobeerd. Volle smaak, lekker kruidig!
